Time Management Tips
Okay so we are all guilty of procrastination from time to time - I know I've been putting off writing this article for the last half hour, with the excuse that another cup of coffee was needed! (Okay, so it is Sunday here and one or two glasses of wine were consumed last night!)
But, we all know that we want to be successful, and in order to get there, we have to work, right? Time management is super important to those of us who are trying to juggle several things at once, such as running a home, looking after family, cooking, cleaning and the myriad of other things we need to keep on top of - goodness knows how you cope when you are doing a traditional '9-5' at the same time!
Hubspot is an excellent resource of business help and offers some easy-to-understand advice, set out in manageable chunks. I've found a great article there which will give you 8 great hints and tips on how to manage your time more effectively, meaning you will ultimately get to your goals that much faster.
Here is the introduction and if you would like to know more, I will put the URL lower down for you:
"While intended to make life easier, sometimes putting together a to-do list can feel like a bigger undertaking than accomplishing the actual tasks at hand. This concept is referred to as the procrastination 'doom loop' -- a cycle of putting off tasks, feeling anxiety and guilt, and consequently working with lower productivity and efficiency due to these negative feelings.
This is especially true when it comes to long-term projects, as it can be easy to lose focus and diligence when working toward monthly or quarterly deadlines. But when you're forced to work as your own project manager, organization is the name of the game.
To help you stay on track and make consistent progress towards your goals, we've put together a list of tools that'll help you complete long-term projects on time without losing motivation or entering the 'doom loop'."

I love Hubspot, they have a LOT of great information there. You should apply to be a guest blogger, Jude!! I don't have the experience yet!!
Thanks Jude, it is Sunday here as well. Just had my first coffee, while reading my email. Two things I was taught in my early life as a manager were "The In-Basket," and managing my time. Our email is similar to the In-basket, you have to determine what needs to be addressed now, what can wait and what can wait or be junked. Rough summary of what it is. Time management is so crucial if you want to be a successful manager or business owner.
You are helping me so much this Sunday :-) Thanks a million Jude for posting and sharing.
I like the suggestion regarding biological prime time. It is important to know when your most productive time of day is. I am most productive in the morning. So that's the time I devote to developing content. Admin type chores are left for after lunch.
I like these ideas, they always seem great, so why is my list and plan still firmly rooted in my skull?
Is this called procrastination? probably, must try to fix this.
Oh Steve, you and I are more alike than you realize! I've just answered you on another post, saying that I can give advice buy I don't listen to myself lol! :)

a GREAT help. Thanks Jude !
You're very welcome Steve :)
Jue - If you could post 100 times a day, I would make time to read every one of them. You have been an inspiration from day one in WA..and you continue to be that light at the end of the tunnel.
To say thanks is totally inadequate !
Steve
You are more than welcome Steve - I'm so happy to have found a friend like you :)
Likewise Jude! I rely on your positive energy, never give up attitude and "I have been there done that" stories that make all of us feel like we can do this.
ALWAYS your friend and ALWAYS here!
