Self-Education
What you are trying to do on here is to create a successful online business, right? Most of us have not been taught these skills in school - I know I certainly wasn't here in England. I left school in 1979 and computers were only just becoming used in banks etc.
I was forced to give up working the 9-5 some years ago now due to health problems and I wasn't up to the commute any more. And so I had to decide how I would then earn a living by working from home. Fortunately I have always enjoyed writing and my daughter pointed me in the direction of Upwork, (then oDesk,) to create a profile.
Four years later and 180+ jobs done on there, (with as many five star reviews,) I now feel confident in my abilities. But it wasn't always that way. I had to learn how to create the kind of content people want and what the difference was between an article and a blog post etc.
So how did I learn? I became a master at self-education. I've always loved reading and so I got my hands on as many books on creative writing as I could and I read as many websites in different niches as it was possible to at any one time!
Some of you may be lucky enough to have a mentor who can show you the way, but I did not. Until I found Wealthy Affiliate I struggled to learn how to build my own website and did not have any idea how I would be able to work for myself, instead of for others.
Now I have all the tools I need right here, along with a great community who will help when I am stuck.
My message to you today? Never stop learning, never halt with your self-education and vow to learn at least one new fact or figure per day. Just one, that's all - imagine what you will have learned in a year?
Keep on keeping on my lovelies.
Ciao for now,
