Dreams
I haven't been feeling too well the last few days and not sleeping much at night so have taken to having a nap in the afternoon. Having just woken up from one, I am desperate to get back to it and see whether, this time, I can realize my dreams.
My Dream
I can feel the future
It's there at my fingertips
But as I try to hold onto it
It flees from my grasp
Ephemeral, like wisps of ethereal clouds
That won't let me touch them quite yet.
The harder I try, the faster they move
Away from me and yet still
They tantalize me with their presence.
I know they are there, right in front of me
I only have to work a little harder
To reach them, touch them, feel them
And realize them,
Make them substantial and solid
And here, in my life
Turning the future into the present
And no longer a dream.

Beautiful! I have found that I never can sleep more than 5 or 6 hours at night, so I take an hour nap almost every day. This sleep schedule works great for me and I just read an article somewhere that there is science backing me up that this is good for you.
