Completed Course 3 of the Cert program! Here's what I've accomplished.

I've finished Course 3 of the Certification program! What have I accomplished with my website up to this point?

• Created the website
• Generated 52 posts!
• Added affiliate links from Amazon, Google Adsense, and others
• Made a few sales!
• Gained followers on Facebook and Instagram

What have I learned from experience

• Posting consistently is the only way to get viewers coming back to your website. You must be a reliable source of information to keep viewers coming back.
• Spending time to promote your post on social media helps bring viewers.
• If you provide a review that gives a reader all they need to know about a product, they are more likely to click on your affiliate link.
• The post title should both be a teaser and include the key words, not necessary a summary your post.

What i know I need to work on

• I understand consistent posts is key but I have yet to do that. It is currently sporadic due to my busy job schedule and family time. I'll need to create a schedule for creating posts that is realistic and reliable.

Overall feeling of WA up to this point?

I love this place! The Certification program has a great pace. You just need to make sure you are following it and working on your website through the lessons. The members at WA are so motivated to succeed and help everyone else succeed. All the tools are incredibly helpful.

The only thing I am bitter about is the fact that you MUST be working on a website generated through WA in order to take advantage of the automated "get comments" feature. I didn't know that until I got to the lesson regarding comments. By that point I had already build most of what I have now on an external server. Hasn't slowed me down but being a paid member I should be able to use all the features regardless of where I started my website. My workaround has been to network with fellow WAers and work on comments that way so I still have options but just a little snag I came across.

Overall, I am having a great time building my website. I literally started not knowing anything about building a website using today's tools. Looking at what I have now, I am very proud with myself. Thanks, WA!
