Good morning everyone!

In between running my online businesses, recovering from strokes, and sister-law on life support in hospital I am trying to find my Evee!

When I came off the road from driving a semi with my husband, I had two strokes and was airlifted. For 6 years the truck was our home for me, my husband, and Evee.

I was released from the hospital in the first week of April, but we had to live with relatives until we got our own place and they would not allow me to keep Evee as they had over dozen cats and were afraid Evee would hurt their cats.

I posted add on Facebook and Craigslist, that needed a temporary home for Evee! After meeting several couples, I decided on a couple that would be only 5 miles away in the next small town. They told me and my husband they rescue dogs and provide temporary boarding homes and I could come by to see her anytime. All sounded very awesome and perfect. As we told this couple I would be back to get Evee when make full recovery and get my own place.

For the first 2 months, I went to see her 4 times, took her treats, and played with her for about an hour each time. Then things started getting weird! We went four more times to try to see her, but no one was at that home, and it looks like they moved. The strangest thing is, they sent me a text saying my husband going to shoot Evee. I could not answer right away because I was in a neurologist's office getting EEG done but once I finished, ran outside the office to call, and the number was not a working number. I started panicking and crying because the phone was turned off or the number changed.

I posted an ad on craigslist and social media about this trying to find Evee and give this couple a chance to do things right as they promised. Still, this did not help, so I contacted the local Sheriff's Office for their county about this and provided proof Evee belonged to me through email asking them to please step in and help me be reunited with Evee!

They told me to come in today, so I am heading that way in just an hour with documents showing where I adopted her, chip information, pictures anything I have to show. I am praying they will find her for me, as I miss her.

I saw an ad on Quora- they have to sell something to make money you know, I took out the links and I don't know how much is the price. You would use it with Any information you got from the people your dog went with. Like their actual names on pieces of mail in their mailbox perhaps for starts. Don't take it, take pictures of it.
So I copied part of the ad, the writer for this company is touting. Look it up on quora newsletter, perhaps, but it's just an idea and something that I saw last night.
So here goes Jannette, because I have tons of things to try to get done today:
"An innovative new website called Truthfinder is now revealing the full "scoop" on millions of Americans.
TruthFinder can search through hundreds of millions of public records in a matter of minutes. TruthFinder members can literally begin searching in seconds for sensitive data like criminal, traffic, and arrest records. Plus, they are able to check as many records as they want (think: friends, family, neighbors, enemies, etc. etc.).
Previously, if you needed to research somebody's arrest records, it involved a lot of work. First, you'd need to know where the arrest records were located. Then you'd have to travel to the appropriate county court office — in person! After filling out long and boring paperwork, you'd have to wait for the results.
Searching arrest records could take days, weeks, or even months. And what if somebody was hiding an arrest in an unknown county? You might never find it.
But with websites likeTruthFinder, a background check is simple and easy. With just a few clicks of your mouse, you can find detailed and explicit information not readily available through a standard search engine.
I decided to test it out for myself and discover what information TruthFinder might expose about me. The search was easy, and after a few minutes, I found myself staring at my background report — and it wasn’t pretty!
There was that mortifying blog that I'd started in high school, still up for all the world to see! My report even included embarrassing photographs of myself that I'd totally forgotten about. I couldn't believe that TruthFinder even found my secret social media profiles that I'd created under an alias. The sheer volume of data about me was definitely scary. I feel like a perfect stranger could look me up on TruthFinder and find out my entire life story.
After conducting just one search, I was totally hooked. I just couldn't believe that it was legal to have this many personal details online! One of my friends from back home has pretty much dropped off the map entirely for the past three years. I've been kind of worried about him, and nobody seemed to know where he had gone. So, I typed his name into TruthFinder and was absolutely devastated by the search results.
My "friend" had gone to jail. TruthFinder had every single detail on the case, from the date he was arrested to which prison he was currently in. But the gruesome description of his offense made me realize that I probably needed to reevaluate who my friends were. This guy’s records listed charge after charge for battery, assault, and child abuse. His criminal record read like an infinite scroll of total depravity. I just couldn’t believe it.
From now on, I'm looking up everybody — no matter how normal they seem. Luckily for me, TruthFinder offers unlimited searches, so I'll never be fooled again.
Although TruthFinder can show deeply shocking criminal records, I've really been surprised by just how practical it is as an everyday tool. I've used it to look up addresses, phone numbers, birthdates, estimated income levels, assets — heck, I've even found Amazon wishlists on TruthFinder. One time I looked up Todd Kohlhepp, the scary serial killer from South Carolina who confessed to seven murders. Well, guess what? His Amazon profile came up in his background report, and let me tell you, it was downright chilling. He literally left reviews on knives and shovels, discussing how he used them in the murders. It was one of the creepiest things I've ever found online." Truthfinder via Quora

Like data mining for investors in real estate, with skip trace included.
Real names (added bonus if you got the middle name or middle initial. you don't want to be paying for the wrong info, correct address?
I've paid for one or two of these kinds of things and it was too easy to get the wrong person, but you may also get relatatives?
Big ? Just on my heart to reach out to you!
Suzay

You need something called skip tracing, it's a service often used in real estate investing, not normie real estate so much, to find offenders. The system looks for forwarding addresses, electric company billing, anything where their name pops up for services needed for a home, and water bills, you get it. In this world, you cannot leave without a trace.

They have been watching this woman, as she claimed her house burned down and she was getting money from people when her house did not burn down. She has, like, 12 Facebook accounts. The police tried to reach out to each account, and she responded to me. She said Evee got hurt in a dog fight and now needs to pay $1000 and will not show proof she is alive. If I pay $1000, I can come see Evee and get her. I hope the police get her back for me.

I can't believe how heartless she is. I'm so sorry you have to go through this. Extortion & fraud are hefty crimes - so I hope the cops nail her to the wall.

I surely hope so, and my husband came home and told me if we have to, we will sue her. Her ex-husband saw my message requesting her to contact me and her response on Facebook. He says she has bad news. He got custody of the kids and she is trying to get them back and going through a custody battle which he believes has her beat because of all the fraud she has committed. I replied, appreciate the response, but don't like to comment on the custody battle or be involved, that I just want Evee back.

I'd absolutely file charges and sue, and I'm not a litigious person. Still sending justice and safety energy your way. I hope Evee is home soon.

Oh my goodness, Janette! I cannot imagine what you must be going through.

I do hope you and Evee are reunited and that she is safe and sound. Wishing you also a speedy and healthy recovery.

All the best and fingers crossed,

Maria

Oh my god this is terrible to read. I hope they are able to find her and you are reunited very soon!

I am so so sorry that you are going through this. These (scammers) are coming up with new ideas to obtain money from innocent people.

It is so frustrating that people would do this kind of thing. My suggestion after you go to the Sheriff's office check at you shelters. And I would give the Sheriff that number and let them see if they can put a tracer on it.

I could only imagine what you are going through right now. If anything would happen to my dogs I would be beside myself.

I am hoping and praying for you that Evee comes home soon to you. Also put out signs for stolen dog. Someone has to know something about these people.

Mary

My heart goes out to you. I’m so sorry to hear this. Praying you find your sweet Evee. 🙏

Oh no. That's just terrible to hear. This woman sounds like a con artist of the worst kind. And now she's trying to extort money from you...hopefully the police can resolve this and she comes home to you.

Hope everything will go well!

Oh my, hugs to you. I’m so sorry. Our pets are like our children. I will pray that evee is returned to you.
