Sister-in-Law Hospital Update
Hello everyone, let me start out by saying thank you for all the prayers, and please continue with prayers.
For the first 2 days, the family was called in to say final goodbyes because the medical team did not think she would make it through the first day, and with prayer she did. On the second day same thing, but with lots of prayers and hope she made it through. However, she is still on life support.
As mentioned in a previous blog post, this is the third time in hospital with severe pain, and the first 2 times they just sent her home after blood infusions and pain pills.
On the 3rd day of life support, the family did not receive a phone call during the night! At 9 AM after shift change, we receive a phone call telling us that her vitals are back up and her oxygen level was at 100. They were going to turn her over off her stomach to run more tests, what they found was that her spleen had a blockage and her brain had no damage. We were still advised she got a long way to go in recovery from that sepsis infection.
Now this morning at 3 Am, we get a call needing permission to give her 4 more units of blood! Her mom is 81 and said of course. They advised us they will wait until Monday to do mom test to avoid moving her to much. As the main concern is trying to find out why she keeps losing blood when no major injury.
When we get more news! Will continue to update.
Thanks Again for the prayers.

Alright good news along with some rough news. But still better than before. I’ll update my church family and asked to continue to pray for you and your family
Thanks! Since I wrote this, they called and said they took off the ventilator to give her a bath and she talked a little bit. After done with the bath, they put her back on the ventilator for precaution.
My thoughts are with you and your sister-in-law, Jannette. Hoping for the best possible outcome.
