Hi all! I am just wondering if putting an affiliate link of a product in my content sounds so "salesy"? Is it off for a visitor?

I normally put a product link related to

That's the way to do it. And as Abie stated , you should put an affiliate link every 500 words

Hi I add an affiliate link per every 500 words.

I never used a definitive measure so this yardstick (showing my age to those that do metric) is useful. Thanks Abie.

Hello everyone. My "About Me" post is the first content I made from the start. It's initially a post. I noticed in All SEO, it's one of the critical issues cause it's been ana

Did you publish it as a page or a post? It should be a post.

Hi all. I am curious to know how you manage your day to day life as an online entrepreneur/blogger. I need guidelines or tips how to set my daily goals. What is considered a go

Hello Jewelyn

For me it has been busy, I am coming to two months and the experience has been super exciting. Interacting with the platform, I get to figure that the most important part of the equation is creating content as it takes the longest time to get ranked that's months down the line, so best instinct getting started asap (indexing happens much sooner). Of course other elements are super important too but you've got to work your way round a plan that benefits you with max gains and productivity.

Sure you can be busy doing other great stuff but you've got to think, will they make me income, will they bring me conversions and sales that's the bottom line that's why we are here or is it not? Wishing you well, success and a terrific day.

Thank you Lula.

You're welcome Jewelyn.

Hi really awesome question busy from dawn to dusk. Don't get us wrong we love every bit of it.

Creating content is important 2 - 3 posts a week a niche a site and that's for the foreseeable future. Consistency is key and Google loves consistency.

Thank you so much Abie. I really appreciate every bits of info and advice.

You are so very welcome.

Hello all. I finished my first 1000-word blog and published it on my site. At first, the AIOSEO Score was 81/100 then I placed featured image, a single image in the post. Now

A very good score is between 60 and 80. For best results, you should aim for 70 and above.. These are just guidelines, however it should not replace quality content however both can be achieved.

I currently doing minor revisions like punctuations and it says 73/100 but when I hit "publish" it's back to 45.

I'd also see Jay's live webinar

Hey I am Lula
I play around the post and try get better score but refresh browsers cache.
Wishing you well and a terrific day.

I am having difficulty choosing a niche or probably because I don't understand it deeply in an affiliate marketing perspective. I'd appreciate any inputs. Thanks in advance.

Jewelyn, I think you have chosen a good niche and down-niched it nicely. It gives you space to grow within skincare for the face. Stay with facial skincare. People are interested in being beautiful and will willingly pay to keep that way.

Reading your post and considerations I would like to quote from the Insiders Guide to Affiliate Marketing to assure you that you have chosen well

"There are three questions you need to answer to determine whether a niche will be successful or not:

1. Are customers in this niche known to buy or are they mostly freebie seekers?

2. Can you sell one-time, recurring and high-ticket offers to customers in this niche?

3. Do you actually like this niche and understand the target customers fears, needs and desires?

Because obviously, it’s much more enjoyable to work in a niche you are passionate about.
And it’s much more profitable to work in a niche where you can connect to the fears, needs and desires of the target customer" - (David Sharpe, Insiders Guide to Affiliate Marketing.)

Keep these3 factors in the back of your head when working on your niche, and you will do great.

Roy

Hi, Roy. Thanks so much for those guide questions!

I went back to the video on selecting a niche. Then I thought about myself:
I love skincare, specifically for the face
Do I still need to cut that down to be more specific?

So, facial care. I think that should be ok, as it gives you room for expansion.

nope that you dont just go with your gut you know the products that work go with that

You choose you niche based on what you are interested in, passionate about or maybe even a hobby of yours. Something that you will be able to write articles on for years to come.

what do you like? like as in cloths um makeup things like that
