Money Goals
I would like to replace my current income of $70,000 per year with income generated from online business and passive income. I would be happy to earn even half that, so that I can travel whilst still earning an income. I have been committing 8 hours a day to finding and learning about these types of opportunities.

The thing about online success that I have come to learn is that there is room for ALL of us within the online world. There is no marketplace that is bigger and there is nowhere that represents this kind of opportunity, regardless of your niche, passions and interests (and it only continues to grow!!)

Take action on the training here at WA, immerse yourself within the awesome and helpful community here at WA... and ask for help when you need it. You will be well on your way to achieve your goals James!

Hey Jay. Everything is tracking along so far. What was your first successful affiliate site?
Reply

My first website that I considered successful was a website in the dieting niche that I no longer have. I've had many successes after that as well.

How many failed niche sites did you have before your first successful one Jay?

I think I bought a couple of domains that I didn't put much effort into before that and I let them expire. To be honest, around that time I used yo do like 95% of my promotions on other people's sites like Squidoo and Hubpages. Back then (between 2007 - 2011) that was a big thing but today you need your own sites.

Hi Kyle,

Im currently following along the lesson and am creating the "About Me" page. When I open the page to edit, the text editor is stuck in HTML mode. I can't seem to make itl ike yours in the video (a standard word-like editor).

Do you know what's wrong?

Do you have any editing plugins installed (like TinyMCE)? That can sometimes be the issue. You can move to the Visual editor by clicking the Visual tab. Do you not see this?

Hi Kyle,

Yes I googled this problem and searched WordPress's website for help. I clicked "visual" and it switched from the HTML editor to the visual tab but all i can do is import images. It doesn't come up with your standard word processing toolbars or allow me to type etc. Just a blank 'unclickable' box.

I disabled all plugins and was only using the ones that came as default with the siterubix setup on here after seeing that as a possible problem.

I changed browsers and updated my WordPress to the latest version in case that was it. Still the same issue. Same issue on Waterfox, Firefox, IE and Chrome.

Actually it is now working for some reason, but I have only half the box to type in, the other half is greyed out? I dunno it looks very different now to your tutorial videos.

But I can type now, maybe the update helped.

Hi Kyle. Thanks for all your help. It pretty much works now and then. I have to keep loading the page until the text editor applet works. It might be my java or whatever software it uses. Anyway, its good enough for now. Thanks again, I appreciate the support :)

It sounds like you have something on your computer/system that could be interfering with this. It is not an applet, it is web based so it should open the same as any website.
