Hello everyone in Wealthy Affiliate!

It's been a week since I have blogged on the platform and I also noticed that I dropped out of Ambassabor Ranking again. Not to worry! I said it once and it still holds true -- "I'll Be Back!"

The reason for my absence is that I have been tending to my websites. Every once in a while I like to go through each of the articles, making sure that they are still relevant and that the links are still valid and not broken.

I have also just published four new articles to my websites and working on ideas for my non-fiction book that I'm in the process of writing. So, things are really keeping me occupied lately.

My "Brudda" @jeffreybrown does get a lot more outdoors work done during his days, I will give him that, but I'm more of an indoor productive person and that's only because the weather here is so brutal with heat and humidity, I don't stand a "chance" working in it.

Speaking of Chance -- my blog assistant is standing by today ready to assist in any way he can. His eyes are on me all the time, just waiting for instructions. I enjoy having him by my side. He is a wonderful companion, who loves to snuggle, is affectionate, and very intuitive. He knows when something is upsetting me and when I am not feeling well. He makes sure he is more attentive to me when he senses something is not quite right. Now that's a true PAL!

He also wanted to say hello to all his wonderful Wealthy Affiliate friends. Wishing them a wonderful Wednesday and a great rest of the week and close out of the month of July.

He also reminded me to share with everyone the news that one of our latest website posts is Ranking on Page 1, in Position 1 in Bing and Yahoo. This comes way ahead of Google Indexing, so we are pretty happy that Bing and Yahoo have recognized our work.

Deciding To Adopt A Rescue Dog - is part of a series I am writing to promote awareness of overcrowded shelters and rescue organizations, especially since COVID began. Did you know that during COVID, people rescued dogs for companionship and now are surrendering them? How sad is that? Me and Chance think it is terribly sad that humans would be that insensitive to an animal.

Okay, I will get off my "soap box" now and get back to work.

HAPPY WEDNESDAY!

You are doing well on your website -- congratulations!

I do believe you are correct, and that many people are simply insensitive. They do not realize that cats and dogs have an emotional center in their brains, just like we do. When we behave in such ways, we put the animal through such trauma...it is heartless. I had a friend who called pets "toy lives." Unfortunately, the name is far too apt.

Hello Fran,
Good to hear from you.
Thank you for adding your input to the dog/animal situation I was discussing in my blog post. This is how I feel. Rescue dogs/animals already are traumatized by what they have been through before you even rescue them. So I think rescuing an animal for comfort during and stressful situation and then surrendering them when you have no use for them is shameful and it disgusts me. What if it were a child that you adopted and then decided you didn't need or want that child any longer? In a sense it would be a devasting experience for both the child and the animal and neither need to be put through that.

IMHO!

Barbara

How true!

Unfortunately!

Congratulations, Barbara!

All the best,
Maxine😊

Thank you very much Maxine 😊
Appreciate your support and encouragement.

Be well,
Barbara

You're welcome, Barbara.

Today is a great day to spoil all dogs.

Happy National Mutt Day.

Maxine

Yes, it is Maxine. However, I'm afraid Chance is already spoiled!🐶

Congratulations, Barbara, on your ranking.

Chance looks like a great helper and companion.

My husband and I don't own a dog anymore, but we are soon to be the grandparents of our second grandpuppy :)

Lynn

Hi Lynn,
Thank you very much for your support tonight. Chance is a wonderful dog and great blog assistant. Grandpups are always good to have too. All dogs need to be loved and treated kindly.

Good night now,
Barbara

Congratulations Barbara.
And Hi to your PAL.
Did I miss his name?

Thank you Muslimah.
His Name is Chance.

Great to hear from you Barbara and Chance! Many congratulations on your new ranking in Bing and Yahoo, I'm so pleased for you!

I was aware of what was happening during Covid with our four legged friends, and unfortunately is still happening. It sickens me to hear about so many stories related to this daily.

Enjoy your day my friends.

Hi Nick,
Thank you for coming by this evening. I do appreciate it.

The situation with the dogs sickens me as well. The only thing we can do is raise our voices in disgust. Maybe some of those people will hear and get the message. One can only hope.

Barbara

So true that we can only hope my friend.

Happy to know we have the same thoughts on this subject.

We absolutely do Barbara.

Great 🐶🐶
