Twenty-two Months At Wealthy Affiliate and Google Keeps Shining On Me!

Happy Friday/Saturday to everyone.
Today as I was going through and responding to Wealthy Affiliate emails, it dawned on me that I have been at Wealthy Affiliate now for twenty-two months. It certainly doesn't feel that long. I guess that may be so because I keep very busy working and being productive. I'm always trying to find ways to create new opportunities and keep pushing forward towards success.
One sure way of judging how productive you've been is when Google SHINES on you frequently, as in my case.
This evening after returning from the store, I decided to check my email again. I try my best to respond to emails right off. Maybe because I know people like to receive responses to their posts. It's not selfish, but natural to want to hear others opinions of your work, so I try not to delay my responses.
However, tonight there was an email notification to me from Google. It so happens that Google decided to look favorably on another of my dog niche articles.

I mentioned in my last post, and it's true that the excitement of seeing these emails never gets old. Maybe it's because it's a sign that our work is good enough to pass the Google Stamp of Approval, so to speak.
Beyond that, it is a great source of motivation knowing that your colleagues support and encourage your work.

That's wonderful! Congrats on all the emails. I have a question for you. On WA when I look up content I see when the G lights up meaning it was google indexed. I never receive emails from Google telling me it was google indexed.
Should I be receiving emails from Google or is the light up enough? If I don't receive emails is it because the article wasn't Google indexed? I hear of other people receiving emails and I am just curious.

Hi Nina, I believe that maybe you don't have your email account set up to receive notifications from WA.
Do you receive emails every time someone you are following posts a new blog, or a message of yours has been liked?
It matters not though, when you click on the 'G' under your published articles in site content and it says that your article has been indexed and it lights up, then I'm pretty sure that your article has been indexed.
Thanks Jessie. Yes I do get emails when people post a new blog. Well, I'm glad you think it has been indexed. When I look at my stats it says I have so many google indexed. It would just be nice to receive an email from Google, though. Thanks for responding.

Hi Nina! I don't think we actually get emails from Google, just emails from the WA platform, informing us that Google has indexed our articles which we have published through site content.
If you look at the example above in Barbara's post, then you should have received one of these yourself each time an article of yours has been indexed.

Nina,
Google index emails come from Wealthy Affiliate, not from Google as Nick has explained below. If you know, by checking Google Search Console that an article (s) have been indexed, you should check with Kyle and find out why you are not receiving emails.
But I think I might know why you aren't receiving them. I just read down a bit further to another comment of yours.
If you do not create your content through the Site Content function of Wealthy Affiliate, you will not receive an email because this is the way WA contents to Google.

If you've written the content through WA Site Content creator and the G turns colors and is not grayed out, you should be receiving emails like mine above, but they come from WA not Google.
If you are not receiving these emails, I suggest you ask Kyle or Site Support, why.

I was born and raised in Hamilton outside of Trenton. I moved around a lot in New Jersey and am now living in Bordentown City. It's a small world! How about you?
I was born in West New York in Hudson County. At 16 my father moved us to Brick. I lived there until I went into the service. When I got back I moved several times in Ocean County. Currently living in Toms River very close to Seaside Heights.
I know where that is. I used to go to Seaside Heights when I was a little girl. New Jersey has a lot to offer. A lot more than people think! Have a great day.

Yes, but it's not the same as we knew it when we were kids. This area and the town up north where I grew up are unrecognizable to someone who hasn't been here/there in a long time.
How wonderful and exciting to get those emails. Unfortunately, I don't get those as I don't publish through WA, but through my wordpress site. It's always motivating when you start seeing success though:) Well done on what you've achieved so far in your first 20 months here at Wealthy Affiliate, and wishing you continued success! I have a big decision to make come November. My membership will expire and I may take things in a different direction. Who knows, we'll have to wait and see.

Yes, like my personal book. That's going to take up a great deal of my time and I can't see writing content for my websites and that happening together.
I'm not sure yet. It will depend on how things go between now and November. If my websites start producing a decent amount of income, then I might stay. Then I will also facture in my other projects and see if they are generating any income before making a decision to stay or go.

There you are my friends. Today hasn't been so bad, we took a nice long walk down to 'Jonction' where the two major rivers here in Geneva meet in the morning!
It was very pleasant and warm, now it's nearly 9pm and the skies have darkened somewhat, there is thunder all around, lightning in the sky, a storm is imminent!

My dad was Irish and my mon Italian. But since we lived with my grandparents (mom's parents) when growing up, I kind of related more to the Italian side of things.
