MIA From WA for the Day!

Yesterday was Ezra's (Ezzie) very first birthday! I really couldn't miss IT because they came up from Florida to celebrate with all the family.
So for Ezzie's BIG Day, I went MIA from WA!
Hadn't seen these guys since September 2019, and this little fellow was so small back then, he slept most of the time that we were together. I never got the chance to hold him. I only was able to peek in on him a few times while he was sleeping. September seems like a lifetime ago after seeing how this little man has grown.
Of course, this was a "No safe social distancing" day! No one kissed each other or really got close enough, except for the families that already live together. I don't really think anyone gave it much thought. We were just so happy to be with each other again and no one actually gathered indoors...everything was outdoors, ice-cream cake included.
It was really great seeing all the young kids having fun in the swimming pool. Seeing my mom enjoying herself around the rest of the family was a really great feeling!
These are the cousins, my great-niece's and nephew's and my mom's great-grandchildren. Love all the smiles! Ezzie wasn't really sure what was happening, he preferred having his fist in his mouth the entire day...apparently he was cutting some new teeth.
New WA Day Today!
Today is a new day and as special as yesterday was, I woke up this morning with a sunburn rash on my face and my chest. So much for all the gobs of sunscreen I had on!
It's a back to WA Day today!
I mentioned above that September had seemed like a lifetime ago, and it does seem that WAy. I joined Wealthy Affiliate last September and although it seems like I have been here for ages, I have enjoyed every moment of the journey over these past nine months.
And so today, I will spend the day in a WA way by working on updating and face lifting my very first (rescue dog) website and may continue with Phase 5 Affiliate Bootcamp Training.
That is, if I can stop scratching long enough!

It sounds like you had an amazing day away and that you are working on your day since you've returned! Sunburn is horrible! And I don't think they make sunscreen strong enough anymore!
Hope the itching subsides and you can focus on what you want to work on today!

My face feels like it's on fire and my chest area won't stop itching.
I can't believe this happened after putting sunscreen (SPF 55)on my face, and neck and also using a foundation that had SPF 30 in it.
I am still plowing my way through the work I want to get done today.

We've been using aloe vera spray gel around here and that has been helping a lot!

Nothing is really working.
My face, chest and neck feel like I'm in fire.
And if I didn't know I already have the measles, I swear it almost looks that way.
If it's not somewhat better by tomorrow, I'll be going to the urgent care facility to have it checked out.

I hope not, too. Perhaps the sunscreen you used and the foundation interacted with one another. Sorry, not trying to be negative and I am certainly not a medical professional. I hope it turns out to be just sun burn, which still stinks on it's own!
I'll say a little prayer, too, if you don't mind.

I know, I was thinking that same thing about the makeup and sunscreen.
I'll find out tomorrow. If I don't see any signs of improvement, I'll go have the doctor check it out.
