Fall Craft Fair Flop But Adventurous Day After All!

Hello all my amazing Wealthy Affiliate friends! Hope everyone is safe and doing well today!

I want to sincerely thank everyone who encouraged and rooted me on to finish my schedules website and Wealthy Affiliate task over the past few days. I appreciate all your support and in the end I was able to complete the items I did have on my list

Fall Craft Fair Flop But Adventurous Day After All!

As most of you know, I had plans to attend a Fall Craft Fair at the Historic Village at Allaire. This a place similar to Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia, if anyone has heard of it.

Today was the day I worked so diligently for since Wednesday, when I decided to self-isolate myself until the work was completed.

So off we went, my girlfriend and I, excited about bringing home some seasonal crafts, some homemade pies, some apple cider and some pumpkins or two.

We get to the park, struggle to get a sweet parking spot, within a short walking distance to all the main attractions, and we walk to the admissions table to pay to get into the fair.

Well, then it happened! The lady, dressed in period attire and sitting at a table at the entrance way to the park asked us if we had tickets. Tickets, we asked? We were about to purchase them.

Then she said, tickets for this event were sold online. Because of COVID-19 they were limited to the number of tickets and people they could allow into the event. Well, we weren't aware of that!

Bummer X2!

We then had to walk back to the car (thank God it wasn't a long walk) and after giving up our sweet parking spot, left and thought of what else we could do, since we were already thought and about.

So we then decided on the apple orchard, that wasn't much further from where we already were. So, off to the Apple Orchard we go! We get there and luckily we find an excellent parking spot. We turn and look at the building were all the goodies are bought and sold, only to see the massive line back up, just to get into the building.

We turned back, looked at each and at the same time, said to one another --Nope! Not getting on that line, and we backed thought and drove off.

In Search Of!

By this time, we were getting a bit hungry, so we searched for a place to eat, al fresco! We came across a diner that had outside setting, so we pulled in and had some pretty terrific sandwiches and french fries. It was a peaceful setting in a quaint little town, not very far from the apple orchard! It was even more peaceful because we were the only two people dining at that time. We caught them just as they were beginning to close up. We received excellent and speedy service because of this.

After we completed our lunch, it was off again to find the venue where my girlfriends' grandson is getting married next month. We had no idea what kind of place this was going to turn thought to be.

We were very surprised to discover that it was a Herbary. Much to our surprise, it had a beautiful garden where the wedding ceremony will take place, shops that sold crafts, a cafe for light dining, live music, fresh eggs (hens and chickens strutting around, potted plants, pumpkins and cider donuts.

This was definitely a rare find and if we hadn't gone looking for it, because of the wedding, we would have missed thought on this wonderful spot!

We had a few disappointments along the way today, but together we had an adventurous and enjoyable time.

I feel whenever I am with this particular friend, no matter what we wind up doing, we always have a fun time...even if we are thought on a journey to nowhere! We always seem to make it fun!

What does all this have to do with Wealthy Affiliate, you might be asking yourself?

Absolutely nothing, except that every journey is an adventure and it is up to each one of us to make it successful and enjoyable, no matter where we wind up!
