Blogging for the Sake of Blogging!
Hey there all my Wealthy Affiliate friends!
Tonight I want to leave you with a brief thought or question if you wish.
I've been thinking about this the entire day. I often wonder how many of us here at Wealthy Affiliate feel if blogging on the platform, is actually getting us to our end goal. Do you think it furthers our efforts to achieve our dreams of creating that ultimate opportunity to become a successful online entrepreneur or is it just a practice in the engagement with the community?
Yes, many blogs share a great deal of ideas, lessons learned and experiences, but sometimes something that works for one individual doesn't necessarily work for the rest of us.
Do we blog just to blog and stay active within the community or do we think what we have to share will be pertinent to others?
How many of us scramble to find things to blog about? Do you ever find that the blog well has run dry at times?
This is just my opinion but I feel that writing about what happens in your life each day, is getting pretty old and really doesn't serve any purpose.
I much rather see and write about success stories and accomplishments or achievements. I believe these topics are more motivational than what our day was like.
I know, I have been one of a few who have been guilty of doing this, so from now on my blogs will only consist of goals that have been reached, such as writing, website accomplishments, training goals met, monetary achievements etc.
I would like to hear others opinions on the subject. So please let me hear from you and leave your thoughts and comments below.

You are right. Too many people here focus on their rank and write pointless blog posts just to climb up the list.
Of course I don't mind when people do that every now and then, but there are certain members who write pointless blog posts just for the sake of it. They do it to boost their ego and remain an ambassador.
Unfortunately that is how WA has changed since I was a member here three years ago.

To each their own, Sis! I blog here because it is a pressure release from everything that goes on in my day to day life in the real world, and since I believe there are many people here who I have become friends with, it is also a way to communicate what is going on in my life, as well as hear about theirs. Moreover, it is much less toxic than facebook and some of the other garbage on line!

Happy Sunday! I don't disagree with you. To each their own. You seem to have better luck getting your blogs into the top 10 page than I do when I blog about my day in the real life. I don't seem to have any luck getting any of my blogs on the top 10 page, but no worries, I am more focus on getting my websites up and running the way I would like them and to be getting more traffic and maybe some referrals and sales.
At the moment, I am working on a video sign-up for my MMO website as part of one of the Affiliate Bootcamp lessons.
When it is finished I will post it on my YouTube Channel and send you the link.

Mine shows that I need to reach 10 to get credit or paid.
I haven't gotten there yet. Maybe I need to create another video in order to reach 10.

That could be true, but I think it has to do with comments and likes and how many people actually view it. That probably the only way I'll get to the 10 credits
I know I saw it and liked it, might even have commented--I don't remember--how many likes and comments do you need to get those ten credits?
I'm not sure. You may have liked and commented on my YouTube video and not actually it the training section of the video on the platform. The link to the video in the platform is in this article.

You have a valid point. I do enjoy some of the humor in blogs, but I would rather read something that teaches me something. Not always the case.
As for finding subjects, my "meditation time" is right before I go to sleep at night. Some of my best ideas present themselves then, so I try to wait until such an idea hits me; then will write a blog.

I keep a notebook and pencil on my headboard for that very reason. If I don't write them down, I forget them.
Me too! I do the same thing, especially with my Poetry.
