Although, I'm Not Well Today, I Will Share Poetry Corner With You

Last Update: March 20, 2020

Hello all my wonderful friend and family in Wealthy Affiliate land! Hope you are all staying well. It has so happened last night that I began feeling ill. I don't believe it is the virus, hopefully, just a cold but I still feel pretty crappy.

Friday Again and Time for Poetry Corner

Another week has passed and it's Friday again. So as promised, I will bring you this week's segment of Poetry.

This poem is entitled:

Into The Fog

(by Barbara)

Fog rises up from the ground this October Morn;

There's blackness all around the dawn.

Rain pounds down on the soul of the earth,

Washing in a new day's birth.

My thoughts drift wearily to what was to be,

Void if everything 'cept the memory,

Of our last words spoken,

Is this reality or a dream that's broken?

Fear washes completely over me,

And I'm frozen in my place.

I worry I won't ever see your face,

Light up again for me.

I long to hold you in my arms again,

Deep ache in my heart because I cannot,

I stare out into the fog to see,

A photograh and a few memories.
