For some reason I have the impression that is someone joins through my content that I created here on WA that I would get the referral. However, I can't find where Kyle or Cars

if someone comes through one of your affiliate links you no matter where it is you get the credit

Yup. I'm not sure how it works, but you're recalling correctly. That's exactly how it works. If someone comes to WA from content you created here on the platform, they're tagged as your referral.

thanks Ian

Yes, Jaron.... Here what I do sometimes .....

In addition to having my WA Review page where I send most folks. Another really cool thing to do is use the WA Training (or any other training OR really cool post) and go up to the top where is shows an Affiliate link button.

Click that button and you'll see YOUR affiliate link in there, yes, even if it's NOT your page. All the pages within WA are coded automatically with YOUR link.

So, you can take the title of ANY page in here and apply that specific affiliate link to it and create an advertisement to send someone to that page from the outside. And, if they join, you get credit.

I'll use THIS page as an example..... see image attached.

This is very cool, because I have this one ad where Kyle did a post on building a website in 30 seconds. I use my affiliate link directly to that page. It has gained me a few referrals with that method alone!

I've been meaning to create training or a blog post on this, just haven't had time!

I think he's talking about organic searches directly from Google. Like if you a Google search with "site:my.wealthyaffiliate.com post" you'll see a bunch of results that point to WA blog posts. Kyle mentioned in one of his videos that if someone signs up via one of those posts that we will get credit. But I don't see any referral ID or any cookie that's being set so we're just wondering how it works and if we do indeed get credit.

Doh! I totally read the question wrong. I see your point. That, I don't know! I recall the same thing, but can't confirm.

That's ok PJ! if only i can find that video where he mentioned that to hear him say it again lol

There's an old post about the same thing and people are saying you do get credit. I just don't know how since the link doesn't seem to contain any referral ID and I don't see any relevant cookies. I guess it could be one of the cookies I see but the name doesn't suggest it.

it is possible that since there is no referral code attached that it reverts to us since it is already linked to our account since we wrote it.

Ya maybe, I guess we won't know unless one of the tech teams tell us their secret lol

found this under the stats section of the WA Affiliate Program page:

"Clicks (Content)
Raw clicks from search engines on content you published at WA"

I see the Clicks (Content) but where does it say the "Raw clicks from search engines on content yo published at WA"?
The numbers seem kind of high for me considering I haven't posted that much. I wonder if that counts the clicks members visit the post

there is a "+" to the far right; and i agree it is also my highest number

Ahh, I see it. Thanks

Yeah I remember in one of the videos Kyle mentioned that our content here at WA can be searched on Google and if people sign up through that then we get credit. Not quite sure how that works though. Maybe it automatically has your referral ID associated with it but I'm not sure as I haven't had any referrals yet. But I'm pretty sure you don't put your referral links in your WA posts, it must be something automatic.

I thought I heard the same thing Andy. But i did all the training back in 2013 so had no idea if was just making it up in my head lol

I am very, very new here, but I think I understand the question. I just went into the Google homepage search bar and typed my domain name, wire-wrapped.com. My content popped right up as the first on the list. Is that what you are asking about?

I mean the posts i write here within WA
