It is a slow process but surely we are all getting indexed by Google.

I logged into Google Webmaster Tools to check out how many pages they are telling me have been indexed. Low and behold another page was added to the list!

I never quite understood why Google takes so long to get these pages indexed.

My best guess would be due to the mass volume of pages asking to be indexed on a daily basis.

Any way, don't stop working on your sites and if might even help to stop looking at Google Webmaster Tools for the next month.

Most of the time it will just discourage our efforts and take us one step back in making the best website in our niche.

Yes, I agree. It's the same when trying to lose weight. Not a good idea to check the scales each day, only once a week. Well, sort of similar...lol. ~ Jude

You will get there. I am just fine tuning my first site. Have not yet looked at indexing or rating. Don't even know yet how to do that. Maybe in a week I will find

It's no rush, as I said above, it might just discourage your writing.

i think the mass volume of pages asking to be indexed has a lot to do with it. Slowly but surely my pages are getting indexed ... and "yes" I think taking a break from looking at Google webmaster does help.
