Ok, so here's my issue. I'd like my niche to surround around the realm of Transformers. The merchandise, I should specify. But I guess there in lies my problem, I don't know in

It is a wide audience but as a fan of the Transformers lore, I can say that age does not hold as much of a factor as one may think. There are plenty of adults (myself included) that collect the toys for their personal use, whatever that may be.

That said, I saw the thing about fan fiction. I'm guessing that would mean stories or maybe even role play (hey, that's an idea! Maybe?). I've never really been much of an author, but I'm sure I could dredge up something with this active imagination of mine.

Anyway, thank you all again. Looks like I really got some homework to do. Good thing I didn't intend to "get rich quick". This is gonna take some time, but should be fun.

I think in this niche I might think about categorizing into age ranges as well as the toys, movies, games and shows. It's a pretty wide audience. I like the movies myself but wouldn't be interested in the toys unless I was looking for Lego kits for my son. The kids would maybe be more interested in the games and toys. Older kids like teens and young adults may be more interested in games and fan fiction as was previously mentioned. I think you could offer it all in this niche but organizing your information and products is going to be the key.

Yes, Ridge that site pretty much covers all. Now, I don't know how far you've come on your lessons but selecting a theme for your website would be a start.

I have a site now. Haven't done anything with it yet.

It can be overwhelming in the beginning but have fun with it. The training here is fantastic and you have the whole community here to help you.

These are all great suggestions. But I'm looking at Peter's and Jason's responses particularly. From the sound of your responses, it seems that like I can, if I want to, build a site similar to this one:

http://www.seibertron.com

While I don't wish to copy them, are you saying this is a possibility/goal I should be considering?

I would definitely give it consideration.

What you should do is make all those the different categories for your website (shows, movies, toys, and games). You don't want to limit yourself too much in terms of content and I think having all four of those will make for a better and more thorough niche site!

Hey Ridge, I know very little about blog sites, but how about a blog site that covers all.

Hello, you need to diversify your niche to find more ideas to write about. Just study this tutorial by Magistudios I hope it helps.

There might be some transformer fan fiction you could look for some of that or try to write some to expand. It might depend on who your audience is on where you need to expand. Obviously it's fans but what is the age range you are targeting? That will make the decision in what you focus on.
