Adopting a good night time routine will improve your day
I am sure we are all guilty of working till the wee hours of the morning. I just came across this article that reminded me of how important my sleep is, and gives some helpful tips to get me there.
You are less productive when you are exhausted, so taking a break before bed can be very helpful.
Some helpful tips:
1. Unplug yourself from everything, including your phone
2. Take a stroll to clear your mind (I walk my dog)
3. Give yourself at least an hour to unwind before you doze off
4. Read a book, a magazine, something for at least 6 minutes
5. When you have reached a high note in your work just stop to return back later to finish
6. Consider learning something new while winding down
7. Ask that vital question before you lay down -- "What good have I done today?"

I work until the late hours, while watching TV or radio. I do stop everything right before I go to bed and just reflect on what I have done all day and make plans for tomorrow...

Great tips Josephine. It is medically proven that lack of sleep isn't healthy but we are all tend to deprive ourselves of it every now and then. Thanks for sharing this.

Hi there, yes to get a good nights rest is very important indeed. I find reading a book before turning out the lights works best for me.
That last question you have "What good have I done today" is very important as well.
