You look around, walk over to the coffee pot, then you trip over the cat, so you give him one swift kick, after all, he shouldn't have been there in the first place. First mistake...
Let's make the scenario worse
You went out last night for dinner with your Sweetheart, the check came and you couldn't afford to pay the whole thing. So Cinthya looked at you and told you point blank;
~ I'm tired of this Richard, how do you expect us to have a serious relationship? You're always broke, and I'm always stuck pickin' up the slack. You spend most of your days on your laptop, telling me you're about to break through. I'm starting to think you watch porn, and play video games all day!
So you pay the bill, humbly accepting the few bucks she threw in to top it off, man can it get any worse?
Yup, waking out, as you go to take her hand she turns to you;
Richard, I need space, I just need time to think about this...
You remember my first words, Suck It up?
You're here working hard, first rule is to believe in your "Self'', nobody has ever had a free ride on the road to personal success.
My advice to you, is don't let anyone, I mean anyone, piss in your corn flakes. Forget about blaming other people for why "you think you failed", be your own person and keep going.
If you need to vent, that's what WA posts are for, you got friends here, just keep it civilized:)

It's so hard to swallow the truth, sometimes, but you're absolutely right. If you're with someone that is infusing your relationship with that kind of negativity, you need to either move on or make them see your side and insist on their support.

Spot on. A great point very well put. I get moaned at for "pissing around" on the computer quite a lot. I stay up late to get work finished and have to sneek on ithe laptop, so my progress is slower but i will get there. Thanks for the encouragement

I love you man not the girlfriend part but rest fit me to a tee, it is my choices that got me were I am at ,so the next ones have to be way better then I will see light at the end of the tunnel, its good to have a butt kicking to get back on the path again once in a while.
