My fiance tried to create a WA account for herself using my referral link but when she tried to create a WA account for herself using my referral link this message popped up JM
would suggest that you remove your fiance's emailaddress and name from your question and then contact sitesupport with the issue you are having. The reason being that all posts on WA are public and you don't want spam in your fiance's account.
Also to solve this:
1. try to logout from Wealthy Affiliate completely
2. than delete your cookies from your browsing history and then
3. try again by clicking your own referral link. Alternatively use a different PC if you got that (or phone) to create an account.
There is a slight chance there is cookies at play. Also another thing is that there is a chance that the username that you choose at creation already exists?

My fiance doesn't have an account though but she was trying to get one under using my referral link
yes I understood that part. But if the username already is in use by another user on the platform, than that could be the case.
Have you tried the steps I described above?

Can you name a marketing platform thats better than Wealthy Affil
I don't know any marketing platform that is better than WA. I think it's easy to understand and use, have a great community who mostly supports each other.
