SCAM Ranking

Working presently on Lesson Affiliate Bootcamp - Phase 2 : Lesson 4 of 10.

This is a lesson on creating a Review Template for A Product.

(Please refer to the bold 'Works for the flow your site (scam ranking on my site) below.

Create a template for your reviews
Your first task today is going to be creating a review template that will be a guideline for all of your reviews going forward. Having a “standardized” review can lead to much more efficiency in the development of your reviews as well as consistency for your visitors which can lead to more conversions.

You need to create a review style template that:

Search Revealed Zilt

A search on google revealed no satisfactory explanation. Neither was a search inside WA productive.

I hate bugging people for my headaches but searching for a satisfactory explanation of what SCAM RANKING means, I found nothing.

This Question Is Outside Of Site Support's Scope

Site Support has told me this issue is outside their scope of responsibility.

Please let me know if you have a better explanation of what Scam Ranking mean. I would appreciate it if you could point us anywhere on the internet with a url etc.

Thanks.

Searching the words 'spam ranking' did not give me a whole lot in google before. So I tried searching for 'spam rating' and spam score came up with some explanation. Check out the link below. It gets thicker by the minute...ha ha ha. It does sound 'serious' as google can ban your site out of existence if....

https://moz.com/help/link-explorer/link-building/spam-score

So tell me what you think after reading up on spam rating or spam score.

Feedbacks and eventual group knowledge about this subject could benefit many...I think.

Thanks.

Joe

Alex has got your answer!

You rank the "product" you are reviewing according to a certain "rank".

I use a plugin called "WP Product Review Lite" that gives me the leverage of ranking the product on a scale from 1 to 100.

It produces a rank according to the "product", "support", and the "overall quality" on an X out of 100. So if I give it 5 out of 100 it will display 0.5 out of 10.

Hope this helps! 🙂

Denis

PS I included a snapshot of how it looks on my website! I learned that trick from Jay:

Bit off topic but I just looked at your example....is that a plug in that you used for the review set up...with doughnut chart and pros and cons?

Or is it software you used to create yourself and then insert into post?

Becomes I saw this type of thing and I wanted it for a review I was writing. Looks professional and its a visual. I spent WAY TOO much time creating it in Pages software. It looks the part except for my doughnut chart which I inserted into a table is not so sharp, a little fuzzy.

Anyone out there that can assist?

I'd really appreciated it.

Louise

Just install the plugin and in your Wordpress dashboard, in your post, at the very bottom you will see a "setting" (screenshot included) you need to fill it there and it appears in the article (Where you have specified for it to appear) automatically.

I suggest you watch Jay's training he explains everything in details: Denis 🙂

Great!

I will watch that video.

I appreciate your assist.

Have a great weekend, Louise

Thanks for the feedback!

Joe

Scam ranking continues to sound like a critique of the product you advertise in your website. It would be okay to cite disadvantages of the product in design and durability for instance along with the pluses but any level of critique of the product being on the scammy side?

Thanks for the feedback?

Joe

Hello Denis!
Thanks for the help!
I think I understand much about product reviews and ranking it from 0 to 100. I am not able to connect the use of the word Scam in the ranking process. ha ha ha.

Is scam ranking a gauge of some kind about how much your product post appears to be a scam to readers? And why would I even post anything that will look like a scam?

I suppose I am getting very old from the Covid. ha ha ha.

Thanks.

Joe

It's not a critique of anything advertised on my website.

It's a review of someone else's (in my case digital) product. The "scam ranking" is just a way of describing the thousands of scammy MMO (make money online) products online... People want reviews and I give it to them.

It has nothing counterproductive, on the contrary I tell them what NOT to buy and direct them to Wealthy Affiliate as my referral instead.

That is what bootcamp is all about: getting referrals...🙂

I can't help with the answer Joe but I feel better off for having read the thread here.
Cheers
Rick

Thanks for the feedback Rick!

Joe

If you look at the written template it says xx rank out of 100 and in other places spam rank out of 100.
If, as many people do when writing reviews, you use the wording ... Is such and such a spam..
You could say give it a spam rating .

However it could just be a typo. I guess Kyle is the only one who could give a correct answer.

Thanks RoseAnn!

Joe

You write a review, about a product or service and then rank it.

Listing the pro's and con's.

Then rank the product.

Say out of 1 to 10

Or 1 to 5.

Then make a recommendation.

Say 4 out of 10.

Being scamy.

8 out of 10.

The usual flow is to make a recommendation with regards a replacement or superior product/service.

Makes sense. Thanks.

Joe

Thanks for educating.
