The Search For Things New And Big

Man has always been on this unending search for something new, something big, things that are revolotionary, useful and things that benefit mankind. We come up with new inventions, new innovations that truly change our worlds overnight. This for the most part excites a lot of us. We take risks, we jump in, we join the millions of adventure, fame and fortune seekers and all! Being in Wealthy Affiliate is just an example of this very human adventures.

Show Me The Money And I Will Show You A Great Innovation Or Invention!

The world abounds in new inventions and innovations! But without the support of much needed greens, these inventions and innovations could very well just stay in the basement for a long time. Without the blessings of venture capitalists, these innovators and inventors do not go very far with a few exceptions. Elon Musk is one exception. He sold his smaller innovative products first, made some money, sold more innovations and today he has a space company that ferries NASA equipment into space, the moon and Mars. Wow, from his conversion of the Yellow Pages around Silicon Valley, to his creation of Paypal, a global payment platform and now the most aggressive and successful electric car company, Tesla..., Neuralink, linking or interfacing computers with our brains and yes SpaceX. Just how the heck did he do all this? We are simply in awe of his achievements.

The Billionaire's Creed

I heard this before and I suspect this could be one of the keys or secrets. 'Find A Need And Fill It'! Create stuff, big or small, that people would find very useful, practical, affordable, exciting and could not live without once they have it! Bill Gates came up with his Windows Operating Systems (OS), others built the computers (platforms) for them and many years later you and I cannot live without our PCs (personal computers). And Bill Gates loves us! We keep buying his products.

The Personal Computers And The WorldWideWeb or Internet

When the first PCs came out and people started buying them, the internet was not there to support them in a network...yet. While the need for feedback was known around the late 1960s and Request For Comments (RFC) was created, it was not until the early 1980s that some form of useful internet came into being. Between the mid-1970s and mid-1980s PC builders such as IBM etc started to revolutionize the personal computers industry. A lot of other manufacturers followed suit.

Did The Money Come First Or Was It The Ideas First?

It looks like the IDEAS came first! And I heard that MONEY follows great ideas! And how does that tie up with you and I here at Wealthy Affiliate? I see Wealthy Affiliate as a great platform for new ideas, innovations, inventions using words! Now, it would be very interesting to start seeing some IDEAS that led to tangible stuff that made tangible inventions, tangible articles of how money is made or how new things are built or created.

Success Stories In Wealthy Affiliate

Looking into Wealthy Affiliate as a hatching machine for success, I looked up the words success stories. I found a list of three posts by KLChang listing success stories at all sorts of levels of success here at WA. Now, I am still going through his lists and a lot are very helpful, very encouraging. My goal,with everyone's help, is to try to establish some standard or path for the many ways folks achieve success and then share them with the world. Not just in money but in other endeavors. The Many Paths To Success

For sure the paths to success is extremely abundant, intricate, sometimes complicated, sometimes they come easier for some. We can see that some here at WA are now making great incomes. My focus with this writing is success at Wealthy Affiliate and BEYOND.

I get it that we have our different niches in business or personal endeavors. But I suppose that processes leading to success could be similar in nature. Formulas for success have many things in common such as great focus, tons of hard work and persistence just to name a few common threads.

Sharing And Helping One Another

Sharing information, helping out with problems or challenges or collaborations amongst members are indeed the stuff of success stories. It is however an area that could present hurdles for some. Folks could be unwilling to share for fear of niche competition, trade secrets being revealed, for those engaged in highly competitive markets, etc. I do still see a lot of folks who have achieved success and are not keeping secrets to himself/herself and sharing them openly. I suppose it is our personal choices to share or not to share information.
