A Cliffhanger Of A Day, RANK 202!
Talk About Suspense!
So my rank was at 210 yesterday and today I woke up and it is 202!!!! So while I slept a great sleep in this humid Rock In The Tropics, my rank slowly crept up! I suspect that the algorithms or AI at Wealthy Affiliate has anything to do with it! White knuckles and a ton of excitement after working hard for seven months while you hang in the balance is no joke! : ) : )
Hectic Activities Before Flying Out To Manila!
Traditionally we in the cities love to get goodies from the provinces and vice versa. Folks from the provinces love to get stuff from the cities. It is one of those good old traditions everywhere in the world. Small but sweet treats like Dunkin Doughnut pit stops, a McD here and there and even chocolate bars with coconut inside! Yummmm.
So my wife wants to send green banana fruits to the family in Manila! Now my backyard has several of these trees and some have matured fruits. My wife is in luck! By the time these banana fruits get to the city by bus..they would be almost ripe. And hey these bananas are NO simple fruits. These are the variety that you could boil when ripe or make into fritters! Either way they are delicious with a sweet and slightly sour taste! Now I am sure you folks have not heard of 'sweet and sour' bananas before!
A Beautiful Tree Planted In Our Front Yard!
Ever heard of Baguio Pine tree?! I am sure that unless you have toured the city of Baguio in northern Philippines, you would not have heard of this tree. These are found in more temperate climates in Asia. So to keep you from guessing, I am posting a picture of one below. Feel free to post a local name for this tree where you are if there are some like this near you. They get really tall.
Getting Closer To A Dive In 'My River'!
As a good scout, a survey is done of my river ahead of time for a good day's diving adventure. Nice swimming holes are still available. Going deeper into the hills more nice spots are discovered. In actuality it will be tons of diving in shallow (7-12 feet) of water chasing some skinny fish and shrimp then comes lunch time you are tired and hungry as heck and you want to eat a lot of food which will include some of the fish you caught!
In short, it is a picnic disguised as a real diving adventure. The spot below is accessible by car. As you can see the water is clear and that is one good thing. The folks in the picture allowed us to take their pictures so we did! Great local folks! : ) : )

Enjoying the time on The Rock to the Max is it my friend!
Tonight I stayed long after sundown on my rooftop and gazed at the star formations and the moon for an hour while the cool breeze blew all around...remembering great old days on the Rock.
We did this moons ago as kids not on a rooftop but on the asphalt road in front of our old house. Back then at 7 pm the road was empty of any vehicles. The asphalt road was warm as you lied down on it gazing up at the stars.

Sounds great I loved it when sit in front of my house and watch the stars and just relax with my dogs around me. I have a nice garden about 1800 m2

I had at the minimum four to five dogs in my bed as I was growing up on the Rock. They were with me daily and we hunted together.

Kansas City USA! 'I'm going to Kansas City, Kansas City here I come.' : ) On one of my cross-country trips (I have done four) I criss-crossed the US and I am sure I have passed by Kansas City USA !
I find it incredible to see the plains, flat land that extends forever to the horizon and in it are farms, green grass and all! I thought that must be where the oldie 'Greenfields' by The Brothers Four come from!
