I just wanted to share it and get your input on it. I'm all about constructive critique!

I didn't read through much, so this is more general...
I would suggest a real life picture of you. It makes the website more trustworthy and people can relate to you on a more 'personal' level. As well, the caricature picture lends to a different vibe than what you are looking for. (I think.) When I see that pic, I assume you are a funny kind of dude whose going to offer something light and humorous...
As well, as a reader, I like to be able to get as much as I can of what you do without having to scroll. I would much rather see a list of summary blogs that I can then click (that'll open into another tab) and read in full. I personally would rather x out of a site than scroll and scroll and scroll to read the blog post titles...
Hope this helps...

Thank you! Actually, every time you refresh a new picture of me comes up. But I appreciate the comments. Makes sense!

Oh, I see that now.
Just curious - why'd you do that?

It's actually what the blog settings automatically does. I will be getting professional shots to put in there so they are a little better...

oh, neat :)

Hello
good idea you've got there to opt in list ;)
good luck
the website seems well structured.

Thanks!

Good afternoon everyone! I've finally started with Street Articles (Just posted my first writing and waiting for approval) and I want to know if there is a way to monetize any

It would Never be published if you tried to monetize a street article. Just add natural links to go back to your site.

You can't, they are even very strict about how you put in links to your website. The link you use has to fit naturally into the body of your article or you will be rejected. Just find a good place to link to your website and put the rest of your work into your website.

For example, I have 8 articles that are active on SA with 2 links in each one. I pinned each one to my Pinterest board just in case my keywords weren't effective enough. There have been over 1200 views on my articles and around 350 profile views which also list my sites, but only 7clicks on my article links.

Maybe my writing skills or my link placement are poor, so this hasn't been very effective for me. Every situation is different and you may find it as a way to get people to your site, but ,unless there's something I don't know about, you can't just monetize your street articles. Good luck!

They are both right! Best of luck to you!

You cannot use SA to monetize...you can only use it to link your website that you created here at WA.

You use Street Articles simply to get a new site noticed. You can use a text link to drive traffic from SA to a relevant article on your own website. That said, here's Carson's definitive answer: "Once you have one or two articles on Street Articles (or another directory), focus 100% on your website. You do not need to have a ton of articles these days as your website will rank very well as you begin to publish content on it regularly." :) Rich.

How do I monetize my work on Street Articles?
