I want to move a developed domain over to this platform and was wondering if I would need to 'rebuild' the site, or will it remain exactly as it is?

as long as it is based on wordpress then it can be hosted here...
if not then learn from this site and leave your site where it is....
if you decide to change the nameservers then make sure you take a backup ....
change the nameservers where you domain is registered as well as at your current host...
and you can decide at renewal time if you want to move the domain registrar to here if it is a com, org or net ...other domain cannot be changed to hte wa registrar....

You would need the AIO WP Migration plugin
