Hey there community, I had a quick question. If I stop paying the premium amount at WA, would I lose access to my website completely? Is there any way to transfer the hosting f

If you stop paying a premium then you will lose hosting, That means you will have to move your website. if you need help with that shoot me a pm . You can always come back as a premium member but you can never have a free membership again

Thanks for the information, I'll be in touch!

Unfortunately you will lose access on the day your subscription ends. If you own your website then you can move it, but if it is a siterubix website, then you will lose it too.

Thank you so much for the information, I'm grateful for the assistance!

Hi - your subscription includes hosting for your website. If you cancel your membership, you would need to move your website to another hosting provider first. Otherwise, your site will no longer be live on the internet, and you wouldn't be able to work on it.

You need to do some research as to which would be the best provider for you, as they all having different fees and packages. For example, some charge extra for email addresses or SSL certificates.

Thank you for the reply, it means a lot! I'll look out for different hosts, thank you!

So I just got the WordPress 5.5 update and it's really messed up my theme's features and my front page by Elementor. Anyone know how to go back to the previous update? I'll be

Unless you are using a plugin that has a suspicious line then there should be no issues.

Can you elaborate please thanks

If you pick up a plugin from somewhere that causes a data clash. If you have two very similar plugins then a data clash can happen again. Try looking at Youtube or raise a support ticket with Wordpress. I'm not an expert so the reasons can be simple.

Good to know ...

I haven’t heard of any reports, other than this one, that WordPress 5.5 has affected Themes/Plugins.

Which theme are you running?

Are all of your themes and plugins updated as well?

The quickest way to downgrade is to contact SiteSupport and to ask them to restore the backup for you.

I'm running the theme BizDir which is the child theme of Customify. All my themes and plugins are all updated. Before I could easily customize my pages with a little paintbrush at the top of the page, but now I can't, which kind of sucks. I'll contact them immediately, thank you!

Yes! This worked and it fixed everything, thank you so much!

Glad to hear you got this fixed Jose. I'm surprised that the new update messed up your site, but it does happen in rare instances.

yea it was kinda weird, some of the features and pics on my homepage went missing. Then some of my articles had hugeeee gaps between the menu and title. It was strange but it’s fixed, thanks again @MarionBlack

Looking forward to comments.

However, I think it is more to do with Elementor, not Wordpress. So for each update, it would mess it up again. What do we do?

yea same

When you comment like this on questions asked, it makes OTHER members believe that this question has been answered and the person asking the question has fewer replies, if any at all. It's a useless comment to say "looking forward to comments" on people's questions.

You're gaming the ranking system as well. Not cool.

Am genuinely looking forward to comments.

Well I was until you deleted it or marked it as spam rather. That's not cool.

Hi - to be fair, Jim does have a point. If yours is the first comment on a question, it does then show on the dashboard that the question has been answered, even though it hasn't been, thus other members may not look at it and offer the required help.

Hi Diane, thanks for your feedback.

While he may have a point there, I have clicked questions before and I saw first comments were placed similar to mine, people genuinely want to learn and just seen one 60 seconds ago. He may be having a bad day and he took it out on me.

So I recently switched domain names, and pretty much my entire brand name, for my website so I could expand my niche a lot more. My site trust was at 100% and now it's back at

Hi - if you are talking about the Site Trust number here in WA, it is solely based on the age of the site. It will increase automatically by 10% every month. There is nothing you can do to speed up the process.

However, it doesn't reflect the "real world" - it is based on the assumption that you have a brand new site with nothing on it, which will take up to 10 months to fully gain Google's trust. This does not apply to you, so you don't need to pay attention to this number.

It will come back, eventually. Jim

Trust number will take time as all your inbound links will now need to be forwarded to the new domain to gain a relation and that will take time to update in Google but with the content burst for the new doin it shouldn't take more than a couple months to get back the ground you lost.

That seems like quite a while, but as long as it comes back eventually, I'm fine with it.

Thanks a bunch!
