It feels so much easier to write a quick WA blog, yet my brain freezes when faced with my website. Is it just me?

I love to write, but I'm really undisciplined when it comes to writing specifically on a topic rather than the next bit of whatever has taken my fancy. I've have been forced to take myself back to school as it were - my keyword topic is the topic I have to write about for homework and I give myself a time to hand it in i.e. publish it. It's getting a bit easier, even though the next installment of teddy bear tales keeps hovering in the background. I think TJ774's advice is great - now if I could just figure out how to set up a website where I could write the stuff I love (kid's fiction) and make money from it. I think I'll head back to the first few lessons and give myself a refresher on choosing a niche.

I think it is a good idea to switch niches. You should pick a niche that is easy to write for. Something that you feel pressured by is not something you should continue with .
Best of luck!

No, you're certainly not the only one to have experienced it. It's because WA feels like a safer environment. So choose a topic for your blog but imagine you're writing it for someone here. :) Beverley

I'm going to be choosing more enjoyable niche websites in the months ahead :) My first website is kinda creepy

Excellent advise Bev

I am sure you aren't the only one in that position - I on the hand have a harder time writing a blog on WA then on my blog site.

I want to write about whatever comes to my mind, thus the WA blog and Street Articles are so much easier than creating content for my website. Writing about the keywords seems so forced, so much performance anxiety.
