Youtube Wants Us to Save the Internet
It seems that Youtube are doing their own version of Chicken Little!
If you are not sure who he is here is Wikipedias take on it "Chicken Little, also known as Henny Penny and sometimes as Chicken Licken, is a European folk tale with a moral in the form of a cumulative tale about a chicken who believes the world is coming to an end."
So, have you seen the latest brilliant (NOT!) idea from those idiots in the European Parliament? This is, on its own, why Brexit was a good idea!
It is called ARTICLE 13 and basically they are looking to safeguard people's copyright everywhere. Basically my understanding of it is that unless you can categorically prove that all of the content in your video is yours (script, images, pieces of video within it etc), it will not be seen by anyone.
So, for those people in the EU, nobody will see your videos and for those outside the EU, you will not be able to see any videos from video creators insode the EU who do not meet the guidelines!!
Youtube see it as such a threat that they and many leading Youtubers have started a campaign called #SavetheInternet

It would appear that it YT are getting heavily involved it must pose a fair sized threat.

In their ignorance they completely miss the board. All theoretical inventions that will make it difficult for the ordinary worker in practice.
The EU smells the big money from FB, Google and YouTube, and want ways to punish them with enormous fines when they violate the EU rules.
They are completely out of their minds.
That's my take on this, they are a bunch of vultures.
OMG! thats a real bulldozer ! make me wonder the ulterior motive behind it all.? at a guess I would say my making it difficult like that they could populate their airways for more control or something alike. Thanks for the heads up:)

Unfortunately, we are already under the watch of governments of the different countries on the internet. It is to what extent it continues, remains to be seen.
By bringing more people aware of this problem, maybe it can be stopped.

I shall have a look at this. I did hear about how the gov in the UK want to change the way we use the internet. That can only mean disaster for sure.
I don't vote and I refuse to get involved in the politics discussions etc this Brexit thing does my head in. I can't stand Theresa may and I hated Tony Blair. See look I am getting involved lol.
Another way to control us all. Defo going to check this out though in YouTube.

The world is getting significantly boring. They want to control every aspect of our lives, I fear in the future the internet will be controlled by Big corporations and government as the average joe will lose more and more space. There are risks everywhere you look!
These are my thoughts as well. They want to control everything! I believe they have no empathy, they only care about their own benefit. But I hope they realize that if they take away our rights, they will lose the power they desire in some way. They cannot control everything, they're not God!
The thought police are growing in number. Censorship is on the rise. We all need to be aware of these growing trends and resist them where and when we can by verbalizing our concerns!
