Can you believe Autumn (Fall) officially starts on Sunday? It's a beautiful time of year both in nature and also the run up to Christmas which is always a great time for businesses the world over. Here's to a wonderful Q4.
So, let's dive in
What are we reading this week?
Debbis no change (!) and I am still on "The Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace D Wattles from 1910
Still not reading a great deal, just a few pages per day just to keep up the routine of reading every day.
What did come across loud and clear was that EVERYTHING comes from a thought once had by someone. Every man made thing began as an idea in someones mind. And so if you think it, it can become real.
Imagine if Steve Jobs or Richard Branson had not taken action upon their 'ideas' ? Or if Ray Croc had decided he was too old to even contemplate McDonalds?! Mind you, the health of the world might be in a better state if he had kept his thoughts to himself !!!!
Anyway, wat we are saying is, if you have an idea, run with it. You never know how it will turn out. It might just make you wealthy!!
What are we grateful for?
This week we are extremely grateful for the life we have - simply as that.

What are we learning?
We are learning to let go!! With our daughter at University since last Sunday, it has been a whirlwind of emotions letting her spread her wings. She is naturally a home bird and quite closetted if we are honest, so to see her finding confidence, making new friends and blossoming into the role of student is amazing, if not a little stressful!!
She truly is an amazing young woman.
What have been our biggest successes this week?
Another awesome week.
- We are now getting referrals almost every day. And the first ones are starting to go Premium!! Whoop Whoop!
- Had a phone call from a new prospective local business consulting client. Husband and wife have a business each so could be a 2 for 1 !!
- $150 of affiliate commissions in 3 days from 1 source all of which has come from video marketing on Youtube. Zero cost marketing!!
- On a personal note, seeing our gorgeous daughter blossom already during her first week at University. Gotta love that girl!

Hey, just wondered since you are a 10 year affiliate marketing couple but only since June in Wealthy Affiliate. I take it you have a website with a lot of traffic that you are now promoting WA upon? For else I wouldn't know how you got so quickly referrals (unless you got some friends directly linked into it of course).

Although we have been online for 10 years we have only been concentrating on the make money online niche for the last couple of years.
Also since then we changed our brand to our names as we were not happy with the previous brand that a mentor had suggested!!!
So, the 2 websites we use were only bought and built this year!
We promote through social media, our blog and also through some paid ads. We never mix business with family (they think we are weird for making a living off the internet!!!) so our referrals have all been from people we didn't know.
However, although our websites are fairly young, our experience does help keep us ahead of the curve.
