If You Use Pinterest, Read This
We have been using Pinterest to good effect over the last month or so, before that merely dabbling with it!
If you spend some time on the platform it really can drve some good traffic to your websites.
However, that is NOT what this post is about!
I went onto Pinterest today and noticed that the Communities tab was missing! We had started a 'community' but not done much with it recently. It seems that the communities section of Pinterest was a huge flop as they have ended it!
I found this on a website which states
Edit April 2019: After a short run, Pinterest has announced that they will be shutting down the Communities feature, and all current communities will be turned into group boards.
So now if you go onto your Boards page and scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will see any communities that you had created set up as a Group Board onto which you can Invite people.
Did anyone here have a Pinterest Community? Would be interested to know how popular/unpopular they were.
If anyone would like an invite onto our Pinterest ex-Community Board called "Creating an Online Income Community" please feel free to PM us.

Ooh!! I have a question, since you use Pinterest! So I occasionally share an affiliate link there with no problem.
But occasionally I try to share a blog post from WA and Pinterest hates it and refuses to accept any links from here. I'm stuck with FB and Twitter to share blog posts too.
Is there a way to do this without linking to my site? I'm not in the MMO niche, it's just I like sharing excellent blog posts. -_-
Everytime I ask this question, I get people stating social media doesn't allow affiliate links and then I spend more time educating them they DO, you just can't spam. -_-
Hi Rochelle,
I tried a few things and I have an answer for you. I just wrote a new post detailing what I did. Just Found a Way to Get Pinterest to Accept WA Links Hope that helps

Thanks for the update. We are still very, very new to Pinterest, but we know it is a good platform and we shall pursue it going forward.
This is important news.
Thank you!

That's a great idea guys. I've actually considered creating a Group Board for WA for a while but never got around to it.
