Happy Daiquiri Day and Are You Ready for Junk Food Day?!
Go on, how many of you knew it was Daiquiri Day today - July 19th?
And did you know that on Saturday the 21st July it is Junk Food Day!
"Why am I telling you this?", I hear you ask!
Well, many of us marketers find a bit of a stumbling block when it comes to finding a reason to write something to our followers on any given day - am I right?
Well, there is a website https://www.daysoftheyear.com that catalogues the days of the year and what actual celebrations go on around the world on any given day.
Believe it or not coming up in the next week or so are:
- International Chess Day
- Hammock Day (now there is a good one for all you Make Money Online people!)
- Gorgeous Grandma Day - yes really!
- Thread the Needle Day (for all you crafters out there!)
and so on and so on...
It gives you some facts about the day and also the relevant #hashtag that can be used on Twitter.
So, you never have an excuse for not knowing what to kick off your communications with! Plus starting off your emails etc with some random fact or maybe if you can shoehorn the facts into your copy, you come across as human and fun to your followers.
Result!
So, only a short one today - I am off for a Daiquiri!
