Are You Offering a Cure Or a Prevention?
I read something today which was very interesting.
With the products that you are promoting and the way that you promote them, are you offering a cure or a prevention?
Let me give you an example:
A Prevention is "How to Avoid Having a Heart Attack!
A Cure is "How to Get Back to Full Health After Having a Heart Attack"
A prevention product is for something that is in the future and has not happened yet. A cure product is for something which has already caused pain and suffering so they want to stop that pain.
Now this doesn't have to be a health related product, I am just giving you an example.
A non health related example might be:
A Prevention is "How to Create Extra Income to Prevent Your Retirement From Being a Poor Existence!"
A Cure might be "Create Extra Income to Top Up Your Meagre Pension"
Do you see the difference?
Many people will not buy something for a situation that has not yet happened as they believe it will not happen to them!
Whereas, people already suffering or in a tricky situation are more likely to buy now.
Food for thought methinks!
Have a great day

Very good point. There is a need I think to define the pain points a person who looks at your site may have and try to address and solve them for that person. This gives them value and now. If there is no value they won’t stay on your site - right? If they have no pain points now they also will be unlikely to stay on your site, for something that might not happen as you say.
Great “food for thought”. I like that there are usually at least two different approaches to our promoting products. I found this interesting too!
Be careful about offering cures in health related matters. Only people allowed to do that are questionably doctors. Anyone for chemotherapy?
Heck Jon I do get it. Soooo simple and yet so effective.
You must meditate a lot to see things so clearly my brother!
GOOD JOB, AND THANKS!
I am enlightened and didn't have to see a Buddist Monk! LOLS!
Mahalo and Aloha Jon! You rock my brother!
frank
Thanks for that Frank - made me laugh!
Ironically Debbie and I do actually meditate each morning!
Must have been a good one today!!!!!
Have a good day

I did meditate but all I see is 'blank.' Must be I'm looking at my hollow skull. There's nothing there Jon.
I've complained to people who meditate and they say you are in nirvana! WHAT THE HECK???
But you know Jon, the day goes by so clearly!
BWAHAHAHAA HAA AHHAA... I know, I know there is truth in that somewhere!
Take you and your lovely wife. Please meditate but please don't shave off our hair, both of you! Y'know like them Monks!
I don't think you both will look too pleasing, in my humble opinion.
Your friend,
frank
When you see blank, you are seeing your inner self and consciousness.. blank is a good thing :) Everything comes from nothingness. Without space there would be no stars.
Thank you Sara, I have a mantra that goes, "Thank you Lord." I say it when ever I breath out. Then I repeat it again and again at every exhale. Works for me!
Mahalo and Aloha Sara that was nice of you to drop in.
frank - dang this meditation works, at least for me! =)

Thanks Jon,
Food for thought for sure. Gives me stronger affirmation to stay the course in how i write my blog posts. I'm very cognizant in covering both angles in regards to providing insights into preventatives on how to deal with potential health crisis and (or) healing methods to deal with an ongoing and degenerating health issue (curatives if you will).
Great points,
Brad
Thanks Brad
