Pen Paper Plan
So I'm 17 days in and have spent quite a few hours 'playing' with my first site www.realestatemarketing101.com as well as familiarising myself with WordPress (I am a WP virgin so we are getting to know one another).
Things have been chugging along nicely... I started with the first few pages (as per Kyle's instructions), plus first blog... and was feeling quite chuffed with how it was looking! And then things got a bit more complicated. I kept coming up with all these things I needed to add - what page should I put them on? or should I create a new page for that?... and it all suddenly felt very messy. (But Kyle did say things will change and your website will "evolve".)
So here I am now, sitting with pen and paper and writing out my site plan (old school style) and my slight-OCD feels satisfied now that I can go back in and untangle the mess!
Good ol' pen and paper. If you get stuck and it starts feeling complicated or messy, try writing it out first! :)

Good tip Jonelle, especially those comfortable with old school methods!
I like to do a little bit of planning first but I restrict mine to a word pad so that I can paste it into my wp editor when I think it looks like something I'm happy with.
Keep up the good work and your site will grow without you even realising it.

It does come together. Just one step at a time!
