The first time I went to do this I ended up in live chat and fortunately someone was there who could answer my question, lol!
Thanks for answering this one Jenna! Jody, I also made a quick video to demonstrate how to put the plugin code in the text editor on the page if you want to go that route. http://youtu.be/uSE9J6YJFa4
That is such a great idea to make a video to show how to use it. Some people learn better by watching and I think I am one of those-you sure made the video simple and cool! I know it was for Jody, just wanted to say, nicely explained.
Thanks Jenna! I know that when I first started videos were very helpful, especially for the more technical stuff.
Thanks Jenna, I tried switching to the text version of my site and it worked. I tried it the first time, tried to preview the page and still didn't see it. I went back and did it again and pasted the code and hit publish to make sure I had it in there and went to view the page and it was there. So the "saving" step is probably important to remember when you are only on your first cup of java. :)
Once again, thank you for taking the time to help me out.
I hope you have a great day!!! --Jodi
Sure, you're welcome! Sometimes I accidentally tend to explain things the long or hard way, but I am also on my first cup, lol.
Have a good day too! :)
Hi. For the Site Rubix plugin, you paste that code on the text side of your page or post where you want it to show up.
Or you can take a screenshot of the Site Rubix image to make the banner, paste your Site Rubix affiliate link in the URL part, and put it in a text widget. Or make a text link is what I think you wanted-just write "Click Here" or whatever you want to write, highlight it, click on the link button in your editing area, put your Site Rubix affiliate link in the URL box and save/update.
Let me know if you need more help, I made a banner, text link and I use the plugin. ;)
If I understand you correctly, you should have click on "build your website first f all and things would have happen. Do Not pick your theme and than look for a code.
Also for a banner go to the top of your page looking for banner and copy code to bring to your website.

and now I feel silly...but If someone new is reading this and is having the same trouble...The whole issue was that I was not pasting on the "text" version of my site. Also, I believe I overlooked the "update" button. -- don't forget to save your work!!!! I slowed down, took a little extra time to pay attention and got by with a little help from my friends!!!!
Thanks!!!!
