You have to create a new user with administrative privileges then log out as admin and log in with your new username. This is to teach you how to create a new user. Now you should start logging in as the new user all the time. You can change the author name on the existing posts using this method Change Admin to Your Own Name
Oke I did that Marion, now pages show as author my name. I thought is was inmportant to change admin as you log in because that I can not change. Thank you Marion for your help
Fill out your admin profile and it will ask you what you want to appear as. It's closer to the bottom of the profile.
I'm so confused about everything. I can not change it because it is in edit mode. so how do I change then?
When in edit mode this is what you should see, and as you can see I have changed my details to show my name instead of admin...but you are still admin, this you can't change, it is what is needed so that you have permission to edit your site...does this make sense now?
You will see at the top it now says How are you Michael? and not How are you Admin?
Hopefully I am on the right track. The admin name cannot be changed. I think the lesson refers to changing the name shown when you do a post from admin to another users name.
Thus to do that you would need to add a user and write under that name.

I made a new page the name is home. The page is visible on the menu but when I click on it there is not content. What went wrong?
I think my Home Page is a visual mess. Why doesn't the picture of food I chose as a 'theme' show. All I see is something dark with what seems like a picture behind it.
Joke most WP themes set the blog roll as the "home" page.
If you would like you can set the page that you named "home" set it to static. In that way your "home" page will load first.
And then create a page for your blog roll. If you would like I can send you images of how to do this.

Use static front page instead. What does this
Hi there!
Can you let us know what you were trying to achieve by going into your SEO settings?
This will help when asking questions: Asking For Help? Read This First! Cheers =)
This was a task from lesson 6 so I click te button and I saw that I couldn't fill in home keywords.
The All In One SEO home keyword isn’t that important. Kyle said that himself. So, don’t worry much about it =) As for the static front page, Kyle will cover this one as well.

Tags are just the way each blog is filed so it can be found in searches. In WA you have to add 2 tags - but they can be anything (blog, general)

I started with the free lesson get Started. After reading some I decided to be a premium member.
I didn't know what kind of nice I would have so I started up the Affiliate B
thank you I will going to the first lesson and than get further with the bootcamp. Thanks to you both
Whatever you decide later, I would suggest to go through Certification Courses first. I agree with Fran, in the process you might get some idea what to do for yourself.
Keep up with the starter lessons, Joke. There's a lot to learn, and the lessons are planned out well. Each lesson has a task list. Since the best way to learn is by doing and reading and hearing at the same time, also do (and check off) each task in the list, for each lesson.
Now that you're Premium, you can continue with other lessons after you finish the Starter Course.
You can also start Affiliate Bootcamp at any time. This trains you in general; but also specifically for becoming a WA affiliate.
Also check out the "Live Video Classes" under the "Training" header, left column. There are replays of maybe a hundred or so trainings, all excellent.
You have nearly infinite options.
