2019 goals
2019 Goals
We're seeing members writing their goals for the new year so I thought I'd add my two cents.
In my other careers, especially real estate sales, it was always emphasized that it was important to set goals for the year. How much money did you want to make? How many houses did you need to sell to get there? How many leads did you need to generate to get each client, etc.
Now I've started thinking in those terms about this project which I just started a couple of weeks ago. First of all, we have to think of this in terms of having started a new business (I've started more than one) because if we don't look at it like a business than we are just spending time and will sooner rather than later get bored and it will fall by the wayside.
In a business start up one has to invest real, hard cash as well as time. Here there isn't much of a money investment but a great deal of time which is perhaps even more valuable. Once I started the training I realized that I would have to invest a great deal of time to get it going.
my first goal is to invest the time necessary to complete the training as quickly and efficiently as possible. I'm looking at a minimum of 4 -6 hours a day, everyday for the month of January.
second, to write at least 4 blogs per week each week and try to do one per day
third, apply and set up a number of affiliate marketing relationship. I'm not sure what the right number is
fourth, earn $1500 in the first quarter of the year. I have no idea how long it takes once Google has indexed my site (happened on Saturday) until traffic starts to build and somebody buys something. Therefore I have no idea how realistic it is to have earnings that fast or that amount but you have to aim for some degree of success and then adjust the goal as time goes by.
fifth, continue throughout the year to take as much training as possible.
sixth, to have three websites up and running by this time next year.
