I can't remember or find anywhere, whether you get the site email function on the free starter membership?
Anyone know?
Thanks :-)
No. Email addresses are not available to starter members. So I think the site email function will not be available since they don't need it.
I thought site email was a private domain only. I thought no email with siterubix websites. You can get internal pms from wa member's though.

This may be late but it is my understanding that you do not get access to the email function as a free starter membership.

Is anyone having trouble receiving emails from WA?
I've noticed over the last several weeks that I haven't been receiving emails from WA, such as new referrals, comments on
Same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago. It lasted a couple days and it just corrected itself. It was suggested that I redo the settings...just unclick them all and then reclick. Maybe try that.
Debbie
The last email I received from WA was at 2:09 pm (my time) which was almost 10 hours ago. My notifications are still turned on and I'm using the same domain specific email address that I've been using here for three and a half years.
Yes, I have experienced this problem 3 times in the last couple of months. From Site Support:
"Your hughes.net email provider has blocked email from us on the grounds that it is spam. Specifically, it appears that a Blog email notification causes this.
When this occurs, our system will automatically mark your address as undeliverable."
They fixed it twice , but I just changed my email address in my profile to my msn.com email address yesterday, and am receiving emails there now--we'll see how that works long term. Good luck to you,
Joe
That may be an issue, Joe, I had been receiving email from WA in my junk folder for some reason.
No issues here John. Although I did notice that Live Chat did not update much last night. At least an hour between updates on that, and I refreshed too.
Yes I had troubles too with two of my websites. First of all I was not getting messages forwarded to my main email account so I thought it might be an issue with this, so I stopped the forward and enter directly from Email Site but it didn't solve anything so as MKearns said, I contacted Site Support. At first they told me that it could be a matter of "an extra white space" within the address, but once I showed them that I hadn't any extra white space nor any other mistake in the address and that I had tested with other personal accounts both sending and getting emails from and to WA email site, they figured out what the issue was (they don't specify it) and voila! everything worked again as usual.
There's been a rash of this John. Best add your name to the growing list of those contacting Site Support!
Yes, I'm not even seeing my notifications the last two days either.
I will contact support, thanks :-)

Has anyone had any experience transferring a domain from Hostgator to WA?
I tried to transfer it, but it said it was locked at Hostgator, (even though it wasn't)
Just be cautious with your backups and working with Hostgator. I host with WPX and they are great. I tried to change my hosting to WA a few weeks ago. I had the name servers redirected and WA helped me with the transfer and I backed up everything. Once I got it to WA nothing worked. All my setting were back to defaults, my pages wouldn't load - I have a fairly heavy site, on Divi. After a week I finally moved back to WPX and they helped be replace the damage with my backups. Just sayin... That was my experience but I'm sure some do it just fine. WPX has been great to work with in this case.
Thanks, Michelle!
I will probably just leave it in this case.
I used it for an online course I had and I moved it all to a new platform, I was just hoping to keep the domain name :-)
They did give me a code and that part was okay, then on WA's end, it said it was unable to transfer because it was locked, which it wasn't!
Hi John I hit like only because you offer a caution about host gator and their business practices. I do not LIKE what they did to you. Good Luck Scott
I did transfer a domain name from HostGator a long time ago and they really dragged their feet. Your best solution is to renew the domain name at HostGator and transfer it later. You can have your website hosted here at WA by changing the DNS (Domain Name Servers) and backing up the website files and database.
John,
where did you purchase the domain from my Friend?
If you purchased it at HostGator and it says that it's expired then you would need to contact HostGator Support.
Tony
Yes Sir John, You are welcome my Friend.
They are the only ones s far as I know that can make it right since they show your site as expired.
Let me know how it goes John,
Tony

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience or success with solo ads to build up their email list and grow their business?
I have dabbled a bit with mixed success, a
I have---it depends on the product and service you provide as well as, what you're marketing
I use Udimi
It's also an affiliate program so here's a link to sign up if your interested
https://udimi.com/a/e6r6g
what I like about this site is you can choose the reseller you want to work with and you can converse with the seller before you buy a solo ad to see if they're a good fit--you can also pick the date you want your ad to run on, and how many clicks through's you expect to get---then if you're not satisfied with the results you can get a refund
Thanks Davida, they are the ones I tried out.
I would take out the Afiiliate link though, others may not like it :-)
