Confrontation With Dog Hater
Hi Everyone,
As per my previous blogs on a woman reporting me to the council about my 2 rottweilers. He visited for a second time and apologised for calling, the first time this woman complained, the council guy visited and the dogs sat on his lap !!!!
Today this is the first time I met this woman head on, since she reported me to the council when walking my dogs. Should I walk past this woman and say nothing or, should I confront her ?? She had been lecturing me many times on how to control my dogs and reported me to the local council twice.
Hopefully you, my friends will agree with me, I had enough of her and decided to confront her. As I was walking past her I said the council have visited my home, she snapped good. I then told her the guy from the council apologised to me, because he remembered his last visit, when my 2 rotties cuddled up to him on the sofa. I told this stupid woman that she was wasting the council time, this is what the council guy said.
She was very unhappy about this comment and said, she will be telephoning the council. I also instructed her that one of my neighbours, Liz knew her and her family. Again she was very unhappy, asking what did she say about her family, nothing was said, my neighbour just knows your family, I told her. This troublemaker said she was going to confront my neighbour also regarding her comments.
I thought Liz, my neighbour should be forewarned, therefore I called round to see her. She told me not to worry, she has known this lady when she was a little girl and was always spoiling for a fight. Liz told me that it is her mums dog she walks and although small is very nasty.
While I was confronting her, my 2 rottweiler dogs sat by my side quietly. She tells every one she meets about my dogs but I meet the same dog walkers as her and never any issues. She is the only one that has reported me for having out of control rottweilers, her opinion. I said if you are that frightened, walk somewhere else, but I was told including the "F" word, I was an outsider and therefore she wasn't for walking elsewhere.
I have said my peace now and if we meet again on a dog walk, my rotties and I will say nothing and just walk on by.

I would go have a shirt made with her in mind and wear it everytime I walked them.....like: "Nosey people suck at Life" or something to the liking...lol.
Some people just like to cause trouble. Usually they are miserable unhappy people who try to make everyone around them as miserable as they are. Sad but true. Sorry you had to go through all this because of her.
Sounds like you handled it very well. She seems to just be someone who likes to cause trouble. I'm glad the council could see that your dogs are no problem.
i would like to say some people just like to complain about anything its their nature. I am a dog lover and have two of my own.i use to work at a dog shelter and took care of many breeds of dogs including the so called vicious breeds.In my time working there i was never bite once.They all loved it when i came in the morning to take care of them anyway i think you handled your situation well.
Some people have had the breed discrimination problem drilled into their mind for too long. I am married to one who is finally coming around and learning to accept an "evil"pit bull that is melting his heart like butter. I really never thought I would see the day.
I have 2 pit bulls and I often have the same problem as you. It is not the breed, it is the dog. I am on your side.
Oh boy! If you have pitbulls I'd say you have that fear-factor problem even worse!
And they are such wonderful dogs too.
Yes I do, but my 2 are the most loveable babies you will ever meet. They look intimidating but really are big sweet hearts. They will lick you to death before they hurt you.

Some people are not happy unless they are making complaints.
Why they just can't find their own pleasure in life rather spoiling another person's pleasure I do not know.
I get annoyed when people target dogs for no reason at all. It's a pity these people don't take time out to befriend dogs and their owners. They would learn that with the right attitude, life would be full of fun :)
:-) Yes. Some people aren't "happy" unless they're complaining and making life for others as miserable as it is for them!
But that's a habit - and habits can be broken. (And that one above is a hard habit to break because it's filled with self-righteous twaddle.)
That ol' bat just needs ... to start to feel pleased when she sees him on the street - instead of her usual angst.
