Anyone Using Thrive Leads Plugin ?

Hi All WA friends,

I am getting close to setting up my email building, been doing some searches on Google Chrome, in search asking, best email building 2017.

One company keeps coming up with various different site reviews, it also comes up as number 1. They are talking about THRIVE LEADS, it is a premium list building plugin for Wordpress.

The good thing is you don't have a monthly ongoing payment, you pay a one off fee for the year, for one website it is $67.00 or for five websites it is $97.00 dollars. The reviews say it has many, many functions and opt-in forms etc etc.

Thrive Leads don't do autoresponders, but will work with a lot of the major players like Aweber, Get Response, Active Campaign, Campaign Monitor, Mailchimp and Mailpoet + lots more.

If you are using Thrive Leads, is it as good as these experts say it is ?? Also what autoresponder have you got integrated with Thrive Leads ??

You can find Thrive Leads of course on Google, if you want to have a quick look. I would be very grateful for your thoughts and opinion.

Looking forward to speaking to you all soon, hopefully your having a great week.

Thank you,

John

Oh and I'm using Aweber

Hi John,

Yes I'm using it ...

And Comments ... And Ovation ... And Ultimatum :)

Why?

Hi, thank you for your post. I have a question if you can help me. I want to buy Thrive Architect but my hosting and domain are purchased through WA. Will be a problem?

Thank you so much.
Best regards

No, it wont. The Thrive products aren't host-dependent.

Thank you so much.

Any time Irina!

Hi John - I've been a subscriber to the Thrive packages (Thrive Leads, Content Builder, Themes etc etc) for a few years.

I think it is excellent - the themes they have are fantastic, the content builder is truly drag and drop, the leads feature lets you have popup boxes, banners, exit intent etc etc.

Leads will integrate with almost any autoresponder. I have used them with MailChimp historically, and over the last year-18 months, with GetResponse - and had no problems at all with either - so I expect it will work exactly the same with ActiveCampaign, Aweber etc.

I have no issue recommending their packages.

My ONLY issue is they have a contender - Elegant Themes offer 10x as many themes out of the box, plus many plugins for the same (almost) one off lifetime price as the annual Thrive subscription.

Their DIVI3 page builder has come on leaps and bounds since I first compared them and decided to go with Thrive. To the point where this year, I've mailed both of them asking which I should go with, comparing the other against it.

Elegant Theme's one off price (although it is their most expensive) will give you ALL of their themes and plugins, plus updates, for life. Thrive still only has the annual subscription option.

I am currently favouring Elegant's Divi page builder - over TCB - purely down to the annual cost vs one off cost. I think they both deliver an exceptional page/post building tool.

On top of that, the various pluigins both offer compare against each other - it simply comes down to cost.

I hope this helps,

All the best, Mark

Thank you, Mark.

What a great helpful comment, taking your comment on board I will look at Elegant Themes and compare with Thrive Themes. Do Elegant Themes have an Autoresponder ??

John

Hi John - not that I'm aware of - they are a theme/page builder company. I think autoresponders are pretty much a completely different business model (requiring hosting, emailing etc).

The most popular ones are Aweber, GetResponse and MailChimp. Mailchimp has a free option, with limited emails/subscribers/features - but it did also change its terms of use a while ago - which led me to move to GetResponse.

I did a post about it at the time - which listed some of the usage terms that MailChimp would not allow - including affiliate marketing, and working from home. So depending on what it is you are promoting, may help you make the choice of which autoresponder works for you.

The link is here: All the best, Mark

Cheers Mark.

After your first comment, I did a bit of research between Elegant Themes and Thrive Themes they say there is nothing between them. In fact it was said for email marketing and pop ups Thrive Themes is the better choice, do you agree ??

John

Hi - Thrive has a great landing page designer, and lots of templates - but so does Elegant Themes - so again, nothing really between them functionally.

Thrive Leads (think popup boxes, lightboxes, banners, scroll mat popins etc) has an equivalent on Elegant's side, called Bloom. It does exactly the same - quick demo here: https://www.elegantthemes.com/plugins/bloom/documentation/popup/

When it comes to email marketing - I think what is being said is that they are both great at giving you the functionality to popup/scroll-in opt-in boxes - which can then be linked to your autoresponder. They won't do the email marketing for you - but they will facilitate capturing email addresses of your visitors. Both will work on single opt-in, double opt-in, multiple step opt-ins (think of the 50% complete graphic you sometimes see when you're on page one of an opt-in) and so on.

I believe both companies offer extremely good products which can both achieve exactly the same look and feel for your visitors. How you create the opt-in forms, and pages/posts using their builders is slightly different, but the end result is the same to your visitors.

Which full circle brings me personally back to the decision of paying an annual subscription (which is probably a more long term sustainable model for Thrive) or a one off cost - and hope Elegant Themes can keep generating enough new business to support their products well into the future.

I think both Elegant and Thrive are at the top of their game - the premier league leaders if you like - so I think they will both be around for a very long time. When you have great products which make things easy for users, people will buy them.

All the best, Mark

I'll have to take a look at this one John. Thanks for bringing it up.
Jerome

Not a problem Jerome, just this Thrive Leads is getting great reviews. Want to make sure.

John

Hi I use all the Thrive Themes products. They have multiple themes and plugins. What I can say is that all the Thrive Themes products are exceptional!

I integrate with AWeber at first. Afterwards I change my ESP to Convertkit. A lot of ESP can be integrated so don't worry about integration.

The best part about Thrive Themes products is their customization. You can design very professional and beautiful landing pages and websites.

Other than the one time payment for that particular plugin, they offer membership option. It's just $19 per month if you pay annually. You can access all their themes and plugins as well as future products.

I highly recommend the membership. You have access to a lot of training as well! Simply awesome!

Thank you, Jerry.

I do like what I have read about Thrive Leads, will have a more in depth look.

John

Thanks for sharing, John.

Not a problem Roger, just want to get the right one for me.

John

Hi John,
I have Thrive Leads and I'm integrated with Aweber.
I think their products are awesome. I also became an affiliate of Thrive Themes. They provide great support and training. They constantly keep updating and adding new feathers and training. Thrive makes my life a lot easier. Check out my site. I do have a thrive banner in the sidebar on the blog pages. Let me know if you have any questions, maybe I can help.
Kevin

Thank you, Kevin.

I don't think many WA members are using Thrive Leads, but the reviews are excellent.
Will have a deeper look into Thrive Themes.

John

good information, John...

Thank you, Arthur.

Will check a bit deeper but Thrive Leads seems very good according to the reviews.

John

I use divi theme which uses the bloom plugin, highly effective email plugin.

I have twentysixteen theme with wordpress, Thrive Leads works with wordpress does the bloom plugin ??

John

Bloom is strictly for Elegant Themes like Divi, a perk from buying the theme.
