Wow What a Ride!
Wow! What Just Happened? This has been one wild adventure!
It started when I came back to WA as seen above.
Cancer to meltdown to surgery to recovery to what now? A year of time went by and now I've been back 4 months.
The site that I began originally was still here but in bad health like I was.
I started back at the beginning and moved quickly through the courses as the old grey matter began to warm up.
My rankings were up in 20+ thousands. As I began at the beginning I was repeating things that were still unclear to me.
Ask a question, right?
Well all the while these mesages keep coming in, email, notices after notices after notices. Who cares?
Get as much study/work done as possible, and help as much as you can.
Soon I was in the top 100 but wasn't as knowledegeable as I was friendly. I fell into the learning rabbit hole and neglected my friends/followers. I asure you it was not intentional.
Medical profesionals as well as other profesionals that take on the responsibility of others lives in there hands we feel the need to be proficient before we begin to teach.
While I was in the land of OZ learning all the new ways, I decided to go and purchase a Template that had all the shiny shthings.
I admit this was done due to my impatience to know it all right now. I didn't have time to learn code for what was his name. So buy a template that code isn't needed.
The purchase went like this:
- New shiny template
- Purchase
- Extra $50.00 to Install
- I was an MCSE and Cisco Certs, NO extra
- Two weeks later, still no site functioning.
- F_stop wasteing time.
- Begin building another site that I've owned from the beginning.
- It's been an adventure.
What I'm trying to say is stay the coarse, watch those rabbit holes and get those contacts under control at Your Profile -> Account Settings -> scroll down to Notifications under Email Notifications and turn all the one off that are filling your emails, and others and keep the ones you want. They are turned on by default and you need to prioritize your time.
Now I have two sites, neither of which is up to snuff as we say in the west, cowboy that is.

Welcome back! I totally agree. I turned off all my notifications waaaay back. There is just no way to keep up. Focus on the most basic and important points. Learn SEO, add content, ask questions, get answers, move forward. It is great to be friendly but we have to try to stay productive too!
