Attack On Website - The Price You Pay For Exposing Scams

This post is named attack on website simply because this is what I have been experienced for the last 2 weeks.

We are all in this community to learn how to make money online, right? And if someone crashes a website that we are making passive money from... Then it is not that fun anymore, right?

The attack has been on my bootcamp site where I exposing a lot of scams and the reason for the attack is pretty obvious...

Some scammer (pretty sure I know who it is) has got pissed off about the things I have wrote about him or his "program" and decided to take action and try to crash my site.

It is not the first time, this happened 3 months ago also and the exact same techniqu was beeing used that time.

Someone are sending monsterous amounts of paid traffic to one of my sites, so the server the site is on, has gotten overloaded and that my friends is A WHOLE LOT of traffic!!

How this has been done is that the person (the attacking scammer) has copied one post that I made some time ago and placed it on a site named ptcpoint.com

John Doe – Or More Correct John Smith??

This funny guy has also replaced the name of the author (me) to John Smith... My name is absolutely John but it is NOT Smith

Here you have a screenshoot from the site ptcpoint.com and you can see the “author” name that I have pointed out with the red Arrows

The post I made is the "eden Traffic" post.

How About You?

However, as always the support team here at WA has backed me up and got my site up and running again, I can only imagine that it hasn´t been easy for them though and I am very grateful for their efforts so a BIG thank you to them!

Have you got attacked liked this before?

Fortunately, you pay a good price for protection!

You are absolutely right about that

Hi Smithy, sorry to hear about problems. I wonder what is this site from where you get this traffic? I see many contributions there from Mr Smith.

How is the traffic generated at such large scales? Is it a good place in general to get traffic?

Lol! The site is named ptcpoint.com and my guess is that it is created by the scammer himself... I would not say it is a place you want traffic from :)

The guy is actually paying to send huge amounts of (not targeted) traffic to my site with the intention of crashing my site and the server it is on.

This sounds strange. Sending huge amount of traffic would cost him a lot. Makes no sense.

On the other hand, ALL contributions there are with the same name, see the screenshot. Are you saying all these texts are yours?

I do not understand anything of this.

No, only the Eden traffic one is mine... But my name is not John Smith

I know this, but then this is not against you, the guy is adding everybody's content there. I just miss to understand the purpose of all business.

I have no idea what he do with the other content and from where he have taken it, might be from others that have written about him

It is the code in the photos that he manage to send traffic through, I know it sounds very strange and the guy is appearantly knowing more about sending traffic than most people (me included) do.

must mean you have touched a nerve. Any legitimate business would get in contact to straighten things out. Well done

Thank you, yes you are right about that

Glad that WA support is here for us.

Yes this is not something that should scare you away from doing it, it is actually the opposite..

Agree with you on that

Hasn't happened to me yet. Something to keep in mind though when writing anything less than positive.
