Hello:) my name is John and I live in Sweden. I like to work (here), workout, take photos, read books and try to spend time with my loved ones.

WA saved my life! I am so thankful that I found this place.

I´m here to reach my goals :o) One of my biggest goals is to help as many people as possible to reach their goals.

The other goals I got I keep to myself :) At least, until I reach them :) and I WILL because I ain´t gonna stop until I do.

My gift to all the WA members is my blog post here at my WA profile:
Why it is Important to Write Goals Down

It is a must read and it will help you tremendously with anything you want to accomplish!

You can follow me on Google+ and/or instagram!

All the best to all of you / John

Hi John, please to meet you!

I have two questions:

1) i live in Italy, right now, you suggest me to choose my niche in Italy? for the italians i mean...

2) is a niche, cyclists who want to improve their fitness and performance? (becouse i'm a cyclist for a long time)

3) could the consultant be a revenue? but i don't a nutritionist but i am e researcher

thank you for you help

I know the sport is big in Italy, but I also know (as a half spanish) that it is huge in spain also :) There is probably some more countries where it is big so I would go for the whole World with your niche... wich I by the way think is an exellent niche to go with, have not seen anyone doing that one here before...

Your last question I am not sure if I understand?

For the last question:

One of the way to get revenue from my blog it could be the consultant to the cyclist who wants to improve fitness, but I don't have any degree in nutrition.

Do you understand what I mean?
Reply

Aha ok, you do not need any degree in nutrition, it is your personal view of things that you will lift forward to your visitors... You can know A LOT about things even if you don´t have a degree, sometimes even more than people who has

Hi John,
I did just message you but want to nail my niche! The other idea, as I think I explained before was to have a website advocated the advantages of renting artwork before buying and for offices who may only want to rent pieces etc. I don't have the business myself but could have links on my site to other sites who already do it and get commission if the user purchases or rents from the affiliated sites. Do I need to do research firs to find out if the sites I have seen would allow my to affiliate with them? Or should I just go ahead with the idea? Is like starting a business so I feel I need to make sure the idea is good enough first and that I know it will work. Sorry to be so indecisive!
Thank you
Sophie

Hi John,
You messaged me about niches and I'd really like to take you up on your kind offer, if you have a moment.
As mentioned on my profile page, I can think of several niches, but the monetisation aspect seems awkward.
For example, I've done software development, testing, documentation, translation, customer support etc for many years, but with background authorisation systems, not sexy graphics. Not quite sure to take this, if anywhere.
I also restore woodwind instruments as a hobby, but apart from pads and springs, I see no other affiliate options.
Related to this is a general love of music, both listening and playing, but apart from CD reviews (films as well), of which there a bazillion sites with more content that I could ever create, I'm at a dead-end there as well.
I've also given business English course and think that I could manage a blog on that. There are online training course available that might be useful, but the only other thing that springs to mind is book sales. This is hit and miss, due to the user location - the students are everywhere.
Maybe I just need coffee ... what do you think? Any ideas?

Btw, I have thought about the affiliate bootcamp and have an idea about that, but it's iffy. The idea is along the lines of "fire your boss, work from home", but with true anecdotes and stories about some of the utterly useless, incompetent and idiotic bosses I've had over the years (anonymised, of course - sadly). Does this sound like a fruitful avenue?

Apologies for the length of this :-)

best wishes
Derek

Lol! I am sure you will do great in ANY niche as you are a good writer ;) it's not a joke, you seem to have a talent to engage with your text.. And that is a huge advantage

Sexy graphic is NOT needed, the graphic knowledge needed will be taught in the training so don't worry about that.

I think your first alternative niche sounds interesting, and you can find a lot of affiliate programs, they are literally everywhere online.

The bootcamp is great to start out with and you will learn things there that you can use later on to go into any niche and do anything online.

So, you might want to start out with that one for now, put your whole focus on it for a year and you will have GREAT knowledge about Internet marketing and can start (if you want) anything online later on.

Hope that helps?

Hi John,
Many thanks for your reply and your kind words (I'm blushing).
Just to be sure, the first alternative was restoring woodwind? What sort of affiliate programs did you mean? I'm sure you thought of things that I didn't.
I think I'll also try the bootcamp and see how that goes. I've made a small start with content and there's a preliminary version under fire-your-boss.siterubix dot com if you're interested. If you think it's a bit too harsh, please be honest.

Thanks again
Derek

I haven't looked into that niche for affiliate programs but am pretty sure there are plenty, there is also other ways to make your site profitable other than with affiliate marketing, however that is something you will discover later on.

I don't think it is harsh, it is actually a good name (in my opinion) as it is catchy so it will be easy to remember for your visitors.

You might want to considering buying your own domain name later on.

However, if the same one is available I would be surprised as I think many would want to own that particular one. You never know until you know though :)

So, bootcamp it is? :)

Thank you John, your words are encouraging. I joined in November but I've had some events that has taken me away from getting started here at WA. You sound like you're well on your way earning good money. I hope I can too. I live in the U.S. in Indiana on about ten acres of land and own a greenhouse. For extra income, I grow and sell plants which has always been a passion of mine. I'm an organic gardener and grow most of the food we eat too. It's a great hobby but I'm getting a little too old to do all this hard work. That's why I decided to give WA a try. I have two grand daughters living with me and more income is sorely needed. It cost a lot now to raise children and we try to make the best of what we have but really it's never enough. Despite the hard times, we're a happy family and my girls make very good grades in school. Education takes top priority in my house because it's the one thing you can give yourself that no one can ever take from you! Knowledge is Power!
I have a question. How did WA save your life? I'm curious, but if you find my question too personal, you don't have to answer. I love success stories and would be interested in hearing yours.
Merry Christmas and have a very Happy New Year!

Hey john,
Am still on this chosen a niche issue, another idea came to me how about i chose natural health as my niche ,and talk about how to attain healthy living naturally.
Plus can I join more than one affiliate program at a time on the same website .

My advice would be to pick one and go with that. In most cases (me included) your first niche won't be your last. Most important is to get started with the training, later on if you want to create an other niche it will be a lot easier.

Yes you can join as many affiliate program as you want for the same website

Hi John,Thanks for the follow and I will also be following you. It's good to see that you've been here for awhile, which is usually a sign of success. I started in Jan, but took a bit of time off and seem to have run into some problems. But since the training is so good I will go back and see what I skipped over. Everyone here, that has been successful, stresses to follow the training thoroughly. My 1st Mistake!...I wish you continued success...:-}
Warm Regards,
Kathy (Westwaters)

Hi John! I noticed under someone else's post that you mentioned it was after a while that you started earning through WA, what happened? I'm trying to fast-track my success so I won't fall in a loophole of fails before starting to win. Glad WA ultimately worked out for ya!

Hello John
Thanks for the follow, I am also following you; it is quite an honor to be followed by someone such as yourself. This is just one of the great and unusual things about our community here in WA. Everyone even the people who have been in for years follow newbies like myself who absolutely don't have a clue about what we are doing.

My hats off to Kyle and Carson for creating this Fantastic Organization.I will forever be grateful to Tom for introducing me to WA. I have placed your page in my favorites along with All the other Heavy- Hitters! Thank You so very much.

Have a Great WeekEnd;
Respectfully;

Writing down your goals means you have to cross them off as they are completed. It is a great idea to pave a way for successes. I have had lists for as long as I remember. One goal I had was one I made at 12 years old to earn a Blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do and it was acheived in 2012, 49 years later. No goals to me is a meaningless life.
