I want to create 2 websites that illustrate my 2 areas of expertise:
1. Golf products for the senior golfer.
2. How to buy a new or used car at wholesale price.
A couple of great niches there, John. This is a very big question with many possible answers. My advice would be to build one site as you go through the training. Keep your focus on one site and make it a success and when that site is running itself you can shift your full attention to your next niche. Best of luck :)
Sounds like you have a couple of good niche website ideas there. Simply follow the "get started" instructions (top left, green button). This process will take you through the basics of setting up your websites.
You will then need to head over to the "Site Rubix" button in the same area, top left and then go to the "site builder" section. There you will be able to set up your website names and start building your sites.
I would initially follow the getting started training as this will guide you through the process of planning your sites. To put emphases on your interests is simply a matter of finding your own unique way of talking to your site visitors. I often think that the best way to communicate a mutual interest with others, is simply to write as though you were talking to a friend.

Hello Jonh! At the beginning you need to focus only on one website so you don't get overwhelmed I recommend to choose the one that you like better, you can easily write product reviews for both of them depending on which one you choose, product reviews are really good for ranking your website at the first pages of google, remember that content is the most important thing on your blog, hope this helps.

I'd work really hard on one of them during training and learn all the nuances of Wordpress and blogging. Then when that site looks good go on to the next. Do one at a time or you'll be overwhelmed with information. Blessings to you.
