The Two Sides of Content Marketing
Hi Everyone!
I just want to hear your opinion, feedback and/or suggestion on this one.
I believe there is "at least" two sides in blogging. Content creation and content marketing.
Which side do you focus the most? Creation or Marketing?
Sure, great content can have a positive effect on your Search Engine Optimization (S.E.O.) and with your Online Reputation Management (O.R.M), but at the same time, I think you will get the same result if you use Social Media Marketing or Search Engine Marketing.
If you want great contents, you can easily hire someone from Fiverr, etc. You can pay them to write a good review and/or list article then market and hopefully your followers on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, etc will buy through your affiliate link. Ka-ching.
So what do you think WA friends? Focus on content creation or content marketing?
Regards,
John Greg

I definitely focused on content creation rather than content marketing too much in the early stages which is why it is taking me longer to earn consistently.
However, I just look at it like I've built a foundation. Now that I have a lot of informative content, it makes it easier to carry out internal linking, so that's one positive I guess.
However, now I am trying to play catch up a bit by adding more content marketing to my site.
Hi,
Thanks for sharing your strategy. I will keep in mind that I should spend more energy on my content creation than content marketing.
Maybe Ill do 80-20, 80% on content creation then once I have 100+ high quality article, then Ill switch my focus.
Cheers,
JG
I believe mine leans on creating content rather than marketing and probably why I am not earning yet lol
