Has anyone here successfully marketed/made sales using a pseudo name or pen name? I'm not sure if I want all of my sites to display my real name? Any thoughts?
I do agree with with regards to sharing my real name in the community. In some cases I do use a different name. I was reading in one of the lessons about building Trust with your readers. I know with climate of the internet you have to be careful.
Continued success John.
Thank you for your response. I am worried about building trust but I have a site that is in an area outside of my normal personal branding. Its a tough call.

i use my nickname, and I don't reveal my last name. I am not comfortable revealing that information. I get a lot of comments and return readers. I feel moderately successful.
If you are uncomfortable displaying that information, then don't. It is as simple as that. Kyle and Carson have branded themselves without their last names. Look how successful they are.
Here're some links to a couple of good discussions about that subject Does anyone here write under a pseudonym? Is it acceptable to use a pseudonym on your website?
Thank you. That puts my mind at ease since there is one niche that is way off from my personal brand, but within which I have expertise. Its also that, in most cases, I just dont like having my identity out there for the world to see.

That I truly understand.
