hey guys,
i am making a website promoting muscial instruments and i want to creat a page comparing different merchant websites to buy a instrument from, but on what criteria

Maybe you can check into durability of the instruments. I am into Classic Rock N' Roll Music, my site is OldTimeRockRoll.com. I took piano lessons for 8 yrs. and guitar lessons for 2, so I know a little, not much. But the instruments out there now have a lot of electronics to them and the durability of an instrument is important. Say your niece bought a keyboard, at first it was great, but after a couple of weeks with regular use, something happens. I know you can take it back, but how would your niece feel?

yes, durability is an important point to consider and i will do that on my product review, but im now creating a website review page and i want to rank different merchant websites. so if u r a customer wanting to buy an instrument online, what do u want to know about that website before you buy anythings from it? apart from the points i wrote above, wat else did i miss? how should i rank these websites and compare which one is better?

I guess popularity would be under reputation. And I do know how you could find out how many people visit there site. I can't think of anything else offhand, but if I do, I'll let you know. Good luck!

so i can quatitify the site's reputation based on how many people visit their site and buy products from them, but how do i find out the data?

hey guys, i have set up a website and created some content, but when i type my URL on google, i couldnt find my website, wat's happened with tht?did i set up my website incorrec

Same here but im patiently waiting here. :)

type site:yoururl into a google search, anything that has been indexed will show in the results.

Get Google Analytics and Google Webmaster tools working, create a sitemap and submit to google. This will help your site to be found.

Aren't these features included later in the training though? I am up to Course 3 Lesson 7 and these have not yet been covered.

Great, thanks Labman. I've bookmarked the links for reading in the morning, it's 10.30 pm now so a bit late for taking in new info!

I can understand that. There is about 4 1/2 hours of training there.

Fantastic, there just seems no end to the training here (in a good way) :)

yup, too many things to absorb, too many things to catch up :P

and sometimes i dunno whether i am on the right track or not

it took my first on a while but once I got the analytics connected to sitemapping etc...it started cruising.

No, this happens, it just means it hasn't been indexed yet. Be patient and give it time. Work on your content and it will appear in the listings soon

ok,thx for your response :)

You're welcome :)
