After having my blog for 3 months, I have realised that my blog's name is not the best name for what my blog is about. It's not helpful enough. I have now bought a domain that

You have a good site, so just continue and manage with contents.

I do not think you can change URL. This will be a new site, start form zero.

Changing the name of the site is easy but I would rather keep them both the same.

What is the best way to change the name of my blog?

If you have found a product that is relevant to your particular niche that you would like to review, how does one go about reviewing that product if you have never used it pers

This is a good read.

I agree with Stuartl. The links posted should help you and also how to structure the review, etc.

All the best to you
Jim

Thanks Chartdude. I have already been through that training. My question is more, what is the actual process of reviewing the product in terms of personal experience of the product. E.g. do you have to buy the product yourself to test or become a member or whatever the actions required might be. Or do you just research other reviews and comments on that particular product?

These two training posts, I found very helpful with reviews:

Hi Everyone. I can't share any WA Articles on Facebook. I can't even post my affiliate link directly to Facebook. Is there a reason for this?

I used an article Kyle wrote on FB and shared it on my FB fan page. He did not put it on a WA blog. He might not, I don't know. His article deals with different affiliate scams. I previously wrote a review on my website about a type of affiliate scam he mentioned in his article. I know I can comment on his article on his webpage and help him out. How can I use his article and my review to get the best exposure for me?

When I shared his article, I added text to the affect of "yes, here is another person stating the same thing I did" - to give my article more authority - "here's a link to my article you can read after you read this one." I had to put my link in the comments since I already had his link in the fb post. Maybe I should add comments on my website article linking to his?

What is the best way to connect these two articles? Since there aren't any affiliate links involved, I can't get any referrals, but getting some people to read my page because they know Kyle knows what he is talking about would be great.

I also would like an answer to this. Hope someone can assist!

I just posted my WA affiliate link to FB. I know I can post my web posts and pages to FB, so I wanted to see how FB handles affiliate links. I shortened my link using bit.ly, but FB picked up the WA link and asked me to remove it or prove I was human by selecting some pictures. I did as asked. My link was accepted and when I click on the link, I am taken to the appropriate WA page with no problem.

I usually avoid the whole problem by creating a product review and linking my social media to the review.

Thanks Bill. I ended up posting my Wealthy Affiliate Review on Facebook successfully.

How do I shorten my affiliate link?

FB is not very found of affiliate links. There are ways around it, like Jack says, use pretty link. Sometimes an affiliate links manage to make it through to FB, but most times it will be stopped. And even if you manage to get it to post, people that click it might get a nessage saying "bad link, continue on your own risk"

This is not only FB, other social media have this "no affiliate links" policy too. The best is to make a post on your website, add the affiliate links there and share the post. That is always allowed and work each time, everywhere.

The reason is that some social media want you to pay for this kind of advertising, They love that you post good content from your website, people will read and enjoy, FB would be a boring place if all you saw on your feed was product-sale links.......so I understand why they do this :-))

Thanks Marith. I ended up sharing my Wealthy Affiliate Review on Facebook. It was posted successfully.

I had the same problem, I never figured it out. I would like to know also. I am going to try the pretty link

I wrote an article on my site used pretty link plugin to change the affiliate link to make it look better added the link to the article and posted it on Facebook no problem.

I believe Fb and G+ disallow shares using affiliate links. They will however accept an article share from your website.

worked fine for me today, are you trying to post on your page or other pages?

I think FB only allows you to share some content... does it ask you to go through a series of checks before you can proceed (i.e. selecting pictures)..

Hi Mac. It just flat out refused to allow me to post on Facebook. It even came up with Malware warnings after I tried posting to FB.

I have since successfully shared my Wealthy Affiliate Review on Facebook.
