Keyword, Niche and Market Research
Updated

I am currently looking for keywords for my niche which is helping others overcome their breakups but it seems that when I do a search most of the keywords only resulted in less

Perhaps you are searching for the wrong keyword.

For example - Breakups would not be a good keyword.
But
How To Get Over A Broken Heart - would be because long-tail keywords are always the best and the words are very emotive. These are words that the ordinary males/females would want to know.
Heres another one - Get Over Broken Heart 4375 searches, 744 traffic, and 83 QSR
Think of what other people would type into their browser and forget about YOU. Its not about You.

Mess about with words and you are sure to find lots of good keywords/keyword phrases.

Wow thank you so much Robert this helps a lot! Appreciate it you have open up lots of ideas for me :)

Glad to point you in the right direction.
If you had read my profile you would see this is what I do (point people in the right direction).
I don't know everything but I pass on whatever knowledge I have and hopefully it helps.
You should read some of my 25+ blogs because a lot of them will help you.
Enjoy your Friday and the weekend ahead.
Robert

I also have blog posts with keywords supposedly that low in traffic, and yet my blog garners an average of 1,400 visitors per month.

If you think you can have a good topic with that, then take it. It's only one of the many blog posts you'll make in your site.

Thank you CoachGom for taking the time to reply. This is definitely an assurance for me :)

It's not only the searches that you need to look at. You need to compare it with the QSR - "the competition".

50 and below searches and competition below 250 is perfect. The less competition the better.

If you get 20 searches for each keyword and you end up with a 100 posts and counting, that means you have 2000 people ending up on your blog every day.

Well. Obviously it depends where you rank on Google.

But I think you get the idea.

Don't worry about the low searches so much. It is more about the competition and what you can do to rank on first page or search engines.

Hope it helps

This is insightful really appreciate your time to reply now I am in much better position :)

Thank you so much everyone! I have purchased the domain as well as hosting with WA :)

A great choice! :-)

Glad to hear that Johari. You won't be disappointed :)

You can still follow the training and host your website elsewhere, but you won't be able to use site comments etc.
If you do host it here and decide to leave, you are given a certain time frame to move your site somewhere else.

Hi Johari

It is reccommendedthat you use WA hosting because that way everything that is required is all under one roof.

As a premium member of WA you are allowed to host up to 25 websites which is part of the package.

If you ever decide to cancel your WA membership then you can change your DNS servers to point to a different hosting platform. You will not loose any of your work in the process.

Gary

You can host your site where ever you like and still use the functions within WA.. just not any of the hosting benefits

Pay Per Click Marketing
Updated

Hi all, I have already created an adsense account and got approved for the first stage, I was then ask to create a banner which I did and paste the html code on my sidebar widge

How did you paste the code? Did you use a text widget? It usually takes about 10 minutes for adsense to show so there is something going on there.

Thank you for your reply. Yes I did paste the html code on the text widget but currently it is only a blank box :( my website is http://breakuptoshakeup.com if you don't mind taking a look.

I can see that the empty area is the size of what one of the Adsense sizes should be. You may want to contact Google's support and ask what's going on.
