Hey everyone! Hope all is well! It's really not a big deal, but I'd like to ask if anyone else gets charged a Bank Transaction Fee after paying their monthly Membership fee?</
I don't think mine does. But it's like other says, because I'm Canadian there is the exchange thing that take place, and WA itself has to charge some GST @ 13%.
So, $47 + $6.11 + (US to Canadian) = $71 or something

Yes, because I'm in the U.S. and since WA is a Canadian company I believe, there is a transaction fee because the currency is different. This is a bank fee....not a WA fee. You can get around that by using a credit card that does not charge you for conversion of foreign currency.

Yes and FYI, these charges would be incurred regardless of what you bought in ANY country and from any company. It's not just WA. They are bank fees that apply to foreign transactions. So any time you purchase something outside of your own country...where there are other currencies involved....there will be foreign transaction fees.
There are some credit card companies now that have cards that do NOT charge a transaction fee. You just need to research that if it's an issue for you :)

Those are charges instituted by a bank. We have no connection to this, this is purely in the bank trying to gouge you.
I would suggest contact your bank directly and see what is going on as these are fees we do not initiate, nor collect these fees.

I figured that. I will be contacting my bank. Like I said, it's not a big deal but $3.00 a month can add up! That's $36.00 a year.
I thought I'd ask and also to raise it up to the attention of others.
