Is there an easy way to save WA blog posts and training, without having to bookmark them individually?

Hey Johanna,

When I started, I created a folder on my desktop to keep shortcuts to all of the awesome blogs and training. Now I find the bookmarking easier.

Here's how you can retrieve bookmarked training, blogs and questions: Hope you find this helpful.

Thank you!

I'm in the 2nd module of training and have one article written. Is it a waiting game or do I still need to do more before I get indexed?

Yay! It actually happened today!

There is no telling when Google will index your content. I have had 4 of 5 posts indexed and the one that hasn't was written months ago. I try not to think too much about it, although it is exciting, and keep putting more work out there. I figure eventually I will have enough ranking to make it to the top page.
Joanne

No need to wait this long, you can use fetch as Google: Jay teaches about this in his webinars, but that tutorial should get it going within a few hours tops.

Thanks! I will look into doing this today.

Got indexed today...do I set the fetch thing too?

You just do it each time you post a new article.

Johanna,
Very good question your very first indexing can take a while because you are new to Google they do not know who you are just yet and the first one can take up to a month after that they come in quickly I have had mine indexed within 24 hours now that I have 3 months in :)

Hi Johanna,

Just be patient for the first indexing it can take up to a month, but normally within about a week.

It will happen in the mean time continue on in the training and adding more content to the site.

Best of luck to you,

Calvin

Did you have 'google fetch it' within the Google Search console? Should happen with a day or so after that.

Yes, your main link is fine for referring your friend to WA and you getting credited for them signing up.

Your affiliate links should look something like these

In purchasing my domain, I could get a .com if I switch from the word 'baby' to the word 'babies'
Or I can get my current website name on .net.
Help! Which one should I d

Thanks for the help everyone! I ended up changing the name a little bit to keep the .com. It is actually a bit more broad of a name so will probably be good for my niche!

People by default think .com before anything else. However, since the focus on WA is to generate visitors via SEO, the .com vs. .net issue is diminished. Would the alternative words like babies or babyworld still work for your site plan? That's a critical part too. I know it's not an easy decision, and only you can truly make it.

Just adding to other suggestions.
You have a few options
1. If you still like to have .com extension, you need to tweak a bit your domain name. e.g. babies.com (as Marion suggested), babyworld.com (not sure if this available) but you get what I meant.

2. If you want to stick with the domain name and .net is still available, go for it.

.com and .net are the most established and most recognized extension.

Joe

I always shoot for .com first, but I do have a .net domain and it's doing just fine.

Go with the babies and the dot com.

Hello!

Using a .net or .org would be a better selection when .com isn't available.

I would try a little different name to get a .com

Should I pick the .net since .com isn't available?
